Driving without license yan. Walang pinagkaiba sa mga nagmomotor nang walang lisensya

^^ if you wanna risk it (driving w/ expired license) penalty for renewing it is just P75 I think. Mas ingat lang driving during that 1 week para di mahuli.

LTO to issue 5-year driver's license next week

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) announced it is set to issue driver's licenses with a five-year validity next week, but clarified it will be rolled out on a staggered basis.

The licenses with an extended validity will be issued by three LTO branches in Quezon City on October 10, while other LTO offices in Metro Manila will have these available by October 14, LTO Assistant Secretary Edgar Galvante said.

The new licenses will be issued by LTO branches outside of Metro Manila by year-end, he added.
Mukhang gradual pa pala ang roll out ng 5 year license. Bakit kaya? Di man lang kaya ng LTO i-synchronize yan? Sobra namang hina ng sistema nila. Pero kung magtataas ng singgil, sigurado sabay-sabay yan nationwide.

I renewed last October 7. They told me to check after one month if the card is available already. The paper is valid for one year so I assume that I would get the card in a year's time

1 year only? I renewed last month and the paper LTO gave me is valid for 3 years. Until 2019. So di na ko aasa pa?

Yes. It's valid for exactly one year only.
