The Metro Manila Development Authority suspended Monday the Unified Vehicular Volume Reduction Program or number-coding system as Metro Manila recovered from the effects of typhoon Frank (international codename Fengshen).

MMDA Chairman Bayani Fernando said vehicles whose license plates end in 1 or 2 are allowed to use the main streets of Metro Manila.
