    Meron nag-alok sa kin, MMDA plates- 6 months validity, Coding-exempt, P1,800 yata.

    Pero di ko sure kung totoo e. Gusto ko nga i-confirm sa MMDA.

    May ibang designs din...

    Ok yan exempted sa coding..Sayang mas maganda pa rin yung sa Alay Lakad kase mas matagal ang exemption.
    Ako rin gusto ko rin yan MMDA plate para makadaan ako ng makati..Matanong nga sa LTO kung meron sila dun...:D

    I will be going to MMDA probably tomorrow or tuesday to renew mine and Otep's Doctor on call exemption form. I'll ask about the MMDA plates para sure talaga tayo.

    just be careful in acquiring one guys. i've read in PDI today na may company na nagmamanufacture ng ganitong commemorative plate na japake...

    Motorists warned vs buying
    fake commemorative plates

    THE METROPOLITAN Manila Development Authority on Sunday warned motorists against buying fake commemorative plates promising to exempt them from the agency's number coding scheme.

    MMDA Traffic Operations Center director Angelito Vergel de Dios said an unscrupulous company has been selling fake commemorative plates of the agency's anniversary last November for P2,500 to P3,000 per plate.



    De Dios said the Land Transportation Office (LTO) recently informed him that officials of the company, Powerplates Development Corp., forged his signature in fake documents of approval "to slip through the LTO."

    "We never approved of any commemorative plate especially special plates referring to MMDA's anniversary," he explained.

    He added, "If we approve of a particular commemorative plate, what would prevent others from asking us to approve of their special plates too?"

    De Dios also stressed that nobody is exempted from the Unified Vehicular Volume Reduction Program or the number coding scheme, except those who have valid reasons.

    He also said they are now tracking down the people behind Powerplates who would face appropriate charges when apprehended.

    He said those caught using expired or illegal commemorative plates would be fined P5,000 for the first, second and third offenses.

    just follow the darn law..ayaw nyong natatrapik kayo..sana wala din matrapik ng dahil sa inyo..tama ba ko? nagbigay na ng warning si de dios..no MMDA comm plates..got to buy a new LTO comm plates..darn.

    sabi sa news di naman daw exempted ang MMDA plates eh... may fine pa nga raw na 5K sa mahuhulihan eh.. is this true ???
