This is confusing as light truck normally refers to trucks with gvw of <4500. 4500 and up are considered trucks covered by the truck ban.

according to the guy being interviewed over the radio, it is precisely these light delivery trucks, that the proposed rule is targetting. canter, L300 delivery trucks.

Ganun? How the hell will things get delivered in Metro Manila? C5 na lang ulit dadaan light trucks along with big rigs where traffic is already at a snail's pace. Ang layo ng iikutan nila just to get to and from delivery site, causing even more traffic in a much bigger area. Luluwag nga EDSA/Shaw, every other road naman sisikip.

Coming soon: delivered couches strapped to roofs of sedans.

they estimated that these delivery trucks amounted to about 3000 units. banning them would reduce the traffic volume by 3000 vehicles.
but... not sure if they refer to those with double tires at the back, kahit na tinanggal nila yung isang tire para mag-mukhang single tire, or kasama na rin yung single tires.
