As long as you have your sales invoice it should be fine; these are valid for one week wherein you can use the car with no plate. They're also not strict outside of Metro Manila with the no plate no travel thing as long as your car doesnt look suspicious.

as per my SA, na lift na daw yung no plate no travel policy. he'll provide a copy of the memo later.

workaround is for you to ask your SA to produce multiple copies of your invoice and just change the date on when it was released.

Ang plates ngayon is TO* series, i doubt kung magiging U series na ang gagamitin...

You got your plates in just 7 days after registration? Did I understand it right? How did you do that? I got my new car last Dec24'11 and up to now, there are still no plates available. My agent keeps on saying that its still on process and he doesn't know exactly when it is gonna be available. Is there anything I should do to make things faster?

I just got my plate number after 1 month pero to follow na lang daw sticker ok lang ba yun d kaya ako ma pa flagged down kasi paso na din yung invoice na mga nasa akin..TIA

^Same with what my Aunt did to Toyota before. She told them to give her all the documents needed for the registration and that she'll do it at LTO on her own since she has friends who work there who can help out. Ayun, in one week they gave the plate.

On our company policy, we don't release the final payment to the dealer until the plate number is available. I also know other companies that will not take delivery of the vehicle until the plate number is attached (the Gokongwei companies do this).

sakin 1 month na wala pa din, but i got my letter na on process na yung plate ko sa LTO, ipakita ko lang daw yung letter. validity for a month yung letter of certification na on process yung registration ng plate.
nag follow up ako kanina lang reply nung SA ko, kadarating lang daw ng CSR galing korea..
inask ko kung by june makuha ko na yung plate, sagot lang, SANA.....

Just bought our ford eve last june 18. Ano na kaya starting letter ng plate? Bought it in NCR. 6 ang pinili naming ending. I Saw a Land cruiser sa banawe just a day we bought our ride ang plate UIM XXX..
