January 7th, 2010 08:20 AM #21From my point of view our government is to be blamed on this. There must be a law that before giving/allowing any individual to acquire a vehicle our government must require that there must be a garage or rented garage for that vehicle, like in Japan.

Mahuhusay talaga

Temporary lang ang visitors.
In my case when we have a party sa bahay i inform my immediate neighbors since sisikip yung street and driveway and they even allow us to block their garage kung wala silang lakad. I check the cars parked from time to time and pag may nakita akong di maayos yung parada, i'll get the keys from my visitor and fix it para walang hassle.

How I wish my neighbors were like you.
Yung mga kapit bahay namin madalas din mag party. Tapos yung sekyu nila ensures that NO GUESTS BLOCK THEIR DRIVEWAY kahit na barahin nila yung driveway namin. Dati sinugod ko na yung sekyu... but he calmly insisted that he's watching over the cars and if I need to get out, he will immediately have the cars pulled out. Ayaw pumasok sa kokote niya na dapat yung sarili nilang driveway ang dapat nilang barahin first.Last edited by ess; January 8th, 2010 at 11:02 AM.

Mahirap yan binarahan yung driveway. Paano kung may emergency tatawagin pa. Hirap yan.

January 8th, 2010 02:48 PM #26ok lang naman yung pag may bisita or minsan pag ilalabas sandali yung car sa garage say, to clean furnitures in the garage. in other words sandali lang nag park sa street.
we've only been living in this subdivision in laguna for just under 3 years. napansin namin, kahit may garage yun iba namin kapitbahay, di na pinapasok yung sasakyan nila. permanent na sa streets lang. yung iba naman na nagpagawa ng house, wala talaga provisions for parking kahit may space naman sa lot.
dati kokonti palang nakatira hindi pa gano abala. ngayon na dumadami na nakatira dito sa subdivision. cars "permanently" parked on the streets are getting quite annoying already

I also wish my other neighbors were like me. May mga maayos pero may barumbado pa rin. Here's a pic of my other two neighbors as seen from our driveway/motorcourt (we are three houses in this motorcourt).
These two are always parked like that day and night. I took this picture three years ago to complain to our village association and up to today they have not addressed the problem.Last edited by vinj; January 8th, 2010 at 06:26 PM.
