Dati nahuli ako sa Buendia nag right turn on red signal. Hehehe. "You were supposedly on that corner guiding vehicles, not hiding on that damn tree and waiting for violators". Natinag yung nanghuhuli. Ah sir, no right turn on red signal eh. paulit ulit lang siya. When I asked for his full name before I give my license, ang sabi sakin, wag nyo na lang ulitin sir, ingat kayo. Hehe.

Paseo de Roxas coming from EDSA-Buendia is a favorite hang out of the MAPSA boys for coding violators and beating the red light so once mag yellow ang stop light, tigil na kayo.

These sites I'll be listing aren't necessarily "kotong" spots (but I'm sure some are), since they're the usual hang-outs of traffic enforcers.

    1. EDSA-Shaw Blvd intersection (above the underpass)
    2. Julia Vargas - San Miguel Ave. intersection going to Megamall
    3. Buendia - South Super Highway intersection (below the flyover)
    4. Shaw Blvd - Pioneer intersection - inner lane must turn left
    5. EDSA - Ortigas Ave. intersection (below the flyovers)
    6. EDSA going to Ayala Ave - don't use the yellow lane ;)

I want to add to this.. the road coming from Nagtahan before you turn left to Osmeņa Highway, I think that's Quirino Ave..

If you're going straight towards Taft Ave and Roxas Blvd. and not turning left at Osmeņa, make sure you are in the 2 rightmost lanes (4th&5th lanes according to the "officers") otherwise you'll be charged with swerving.

The kotong cops (mmda boys?) are waiting just after that intersection. I saw a parade of private cars there last Aug. 21 (a Fri. holiday). For sure they acquired much kotong money there that time. :boo: :bruce_lee:

lol, thank you for this, i remember 1st time akong dumaan dyan. i got this habit of staying on 2nd lane, para di ako bumabara sa mga left turn. padiretso ako at hindi ako pakaliwa sa SLEX. dahil bago ako sa lugar di ko napansin quirino cor. slex na pala. thats when i realize that the 1st 3 lanes are turning left at nasa 2nd lane ako at padiretso ako. buti na lang walang MMDA/enforcer.

pero aminado akong its my bad.

ako din..would like to add, sa qc-manila area ako banda nadaan. laganap talaga mga robbers in uniform. in case mapadaan kayo sa mga location an yan, alerto na.

    1. sgt rivera near corner banawe (sa JAC auto supply) sila nagaabang ng mga nag-u-u turn. pati mga left turners from banawe going to sgt rivera. may natyempo ako hinuli beating the red light.

    2. 7-11 dimasalang-retiro. ang ganda ng pwesto nila sa gabi, hindi mo sila makita kasi maliwanag yung 7-11 lights, nanghuhuli ng beating the red light din coming from dimasalang.

    3. near chinese general hospital, sa corner ng blumentrit and aurora blvd.. nakatago sa aurora side, may stoplight sa intersection, while turning left going to dimasalang, kapag inabot ka ng yellow light while turning, BULAGA, huli ka balbon.. 2 ungas na MTPB nagaabang dito nung isang sunday.

    Manila:

    Abad santos: Price: P200
chocolate boys standby sa ilalim ng LRT betweem R.Papa and Abad Santos. nanghuhula ng violation, on the spot pa ang tubos!

Yuseco St. Abad Santos ave. Price: P100
sa pinakaintersection and stop light! huli ka kahit go pa!

    R.papa station Price: P100

    Morayta to Recto Price: P150
Blue boys to mga to! hanap ako parking, hinuli na ko! alang masabing violation? la pa ata sa qouta!

Navotas, Pier to Roxas Blvd. P400 (twice in the same intersection)

eto mga walang hiya! di na sinabi violation ko, hiningan agad ako ng 300! then doblehin ko daw kase dalawang pulis daw yun! i was talking to a lower rank police in tshirt, then there were two in uniform! Holdup?

Batangas St. cor Rizal Ave. Price: Priceless! (talino eh)
Eto mga mga matsing! hinuli ako coding, e may exemption ako, di daw effective sa Manila yun, E bakit pa tinawag na Metro "MANILA" Development Authority and since ang MMDA ang nag pa implement nito in the first place, thus i have a legally authorized written exemption from MMDA which dictates that i am not covered of the vehicle reduction program/colour coding scheme by any means until its expiration date unless in municipalities that have ordinances which implement colour coding scheme 7am-7pm and any exemptions is ineffective.i did not heard or was informed of any ordinance in Manila that any exemptions of the colour coding scheme is not honored nor justified. Hindi Makati ang Manila! Mas Matalino to uy!

First Time lang eh, kinabahan pa Ngayon?

As far as my experience regarding this hulihan goes, kung talagang nangongotong lang talaga ang intention, which nangyari na sa akin,e traffic light change from yellow to red. airport road going left to tramo (wala pa harang noon), hinuli ako beating the red light daw.

Folks, ayun sa LTO, there is no violation as beating the red light Sabi sa akin ng pinsan kung pulis, motorists are given at least 15 seconds grace period to allow those na na- alangan when the traffic light changed from yellow to red.
Sa case ko, I told the apprehending office, "sige tiketan mo ako, pero lalagyan ko ito ng under protest, dahil mali ang pagkahuli mo sa akin.
It was explained to me later by a friend na talaga hassle din pala sila pag merong "under protest" ang TVR na na-issue nila dahil kelangan din pala nila mag personal appearance. So wala nagawa ang traffic aide but to let me go.

Sa ticket mismo sa babang baba, may nakalagay dun na blank underlined space before ka pumirma maglagay ka ng under protest na note.
