You're technically towing another vehicle, not a trailer. I don't see any issue with it. Although, it might be prudent to install a red auxiliary tail or marker light and/or some high-visibility device/EWD on the bike's rear.

if i bump into it, i can argue in court, that it lacked warning lights. as oj says, you'll need warning lights behind the bike.

errr... do the yellow restraining ropes have to have a minimum tensile strength requirement, to be used as such? i do not know.

it's a nice workaround and alternative to using a trailer, right? coz trailers have to be registered, must have chassis#, plate, and all that ek ek. otherwise you're susceptible to kotong
