Around 8:30 pm we left Megamall
In 30 minutes asa Balintawak na kami.
using EDSA 2-3x a week from balintawak to guadalupe area and the changes that I have seen:
Southbound:
Balintawak and Munoz area mas lumuwag specially yung balintawak area
Timog to Cubao to ortigas walang pagbabago masikip pa rin.
Northbound
Guadalupe to Megamall. walang pagbabago. choke point talaga ang megamall area.
Yesterday around 7 pm on EDSA from Magallanes to Kalayaan, took me 45 min.
slex magallanes. walang pag babago. 6:20pm to 7:30pm. merville to edsa taft. kung hindi pa ako nakisabay sa mga jeep baka 8pm na kami dumating ng taft..
Last wednesday, it was bumper to bumper bad traffic Trinoma area (which they closed the U-turn) all the way in the direction towards Ortigas and Makati. This was around 3:30pm, which from my experience for me to encounter such a bad traffic at that time of the day is so rare before.
Apparently the traffic got worse or spilled over bec. of the closed U-turn to Trinoma which forces all vehicles to u-turn all the way underneath the Q.Ave underpass which itself is a complete spaghetti criss cross mess even before.

My trips from Balintawak to Pasig are quicker now. Usually I take EDSA until after the Q. Ave flyover, then turn right at E. Lopez then rejoin EDSA at Kamuning. Bit of traffic from Cubao until Santolan (sometimes spilling over to Ortigas).
Then when I go to Makati during morning rush hours, EDSA traffic is livable to the point that my left leg is relaxed since I don't have to keep on stepping on the clutch since traffic is constantly moving (albeit quite slowly).
It's all a matter of expectations - the way some people post, you'd think they were expecting a miracle that QC to Makati will just take an hour during rush hour. No way that's gonna happen without major changes (relocated bus terminals, improved mass transport, reduced cars).

Exactly. And those who experienced EDSA in the last month or so before the HPG took over can clearly tell the difference. It's now moving at the very least.
Now if only the HPG can keep the same order consistent because in some places where they started instilling discipline (like EDSA Shaw ibabaw), the buses are starting to go out of lane again and the difference in traffic flow is noticeable.
Malaki improvement sa norhtbound EDSA Pasay Rotonda. Dati terminal ng mga jeep and bus to.
^magaling talaga yang HPG. Muntik na ngang maubos yung kuratong baleleng nila in 1996 during the time of zubia yung trapik pa kaya di nila ma- contain?
Iba talaga pag may bantay, may disiplina.
Sana kahit walang bantay ganyan tayo.
