i don't tail gate naman, and i only turn on the high beam pag naka more or less 5 flashes na and 1 busina. also pag free naman sa right lane i don't even bother, i just pass on the right (but wrong) side, sabay kabig sa left na mga 2 meters lang sa harap nya! that usually gets them to move to the right lane after.

But what if you are on the overtaking lane (at 100kph+) and there are cars near/in front of you which are also of almost the same speed (at 100kph+), then there is this stupid moron at your back who keeps on blowing his horn. You also can't swerve to the right because that lane is also busy and occupied by other vehicles.

Ilang beses sya nag-attempt pero di nya ako maovertake gawa nga ng madami ding cars in front of me, and to my right side. He maybe waiting for me na ako naman magovertake at, for sure naman, di nya ako pagbibigyan. Gusto lang makaganti, hehehe. Mga 5 to 10 minutes din siguro ganon ang takbo nya, so kalma lang ako sa likod nya hehehe. This time, sya naman binubusinahan at malamang minumura.

my previous lady boss does that always at SLEX. Drive at low speed on the fast lane. She insists that it's the safest for her since she only has to mind those in her right. And if you want to get ahead of her, do so on her right. you can flash or honk all you want but she won't budge.

this is simple, get out of the way and merge to the right... kung gusto niya ma una sa fast lane at sumisignal naman siya by flashing high beam eh ok lang... mas ok kung signal turn siya to the left sabay flash ng high beam...

Tama naman lahat sinabi nyo, move out of the overtaking lane. Yung iba naman self-appointed speed limiter ng highway, "I'm doing max speed, you are trying to break the law kaya di kita papayagan mag overtake."

Anyway, while you're having that fast/overtaking lane hogger + highbeam battle, nabubulag din yung opposite lane dahil head-on nila nakikita yung highbeam. Ilang beses ko nang naranasan ito going back to metro manila pag gabi.

Is it ok kung if you stay sa left but you are continuously passing cars on your right. Minsan kasi after overtaking 1 vehicle yung next one pansin ko medyo mabagal din so tuloy ko nalang then the next ganun din.... I usually maintain at 100kph not really in to going over kasi hindi na efficient sa car ko.

This is the kind of driving I described in my previous post. If the vehicles you are overtaking are right in front of each other, then sure, you can overtake in 1 go. But if there's reasonable distance between two cars on the right, after overtaking one car, go back to the right lane, then overtake on the left only when you're near the next car.

This is especially true if someone is coming up to your rear at a much faster speed. Let him pass you by merging to the right asap.

Give way, do not stay on the innermost lane as much as possible.

If the right most lane is free of cars SLOWER than you then give way. ELSE, stay and wait for a the right most to clear.

Thing is, if you enter the right with cars slower than you are, then chances are you will hit the breaks. SAYANG SA GAS at baka mag cause kapa ng aksidente.

Edi over speeding na yun diba? Or is it ok na mag exceed ng 100kph basta over-taking kalang?

A bro-in-law of mine said the in Dubai, there is a speed allowance for overtaking. If 100kph is the limit, they are allowed up to 120 to overtake. Sa Pilipinas, my intelligent guess is that it is NOT OK. You just have to take your chance & hope di ka mahuli. I see a lot going more than the posted speed limit on the fast lane. Some are caught, most are not.

They also give that 20% allowance at nlex, sctex and tplex. Posted limit is 100kph but they will not flag you down as long as you keep within 120kph. At slex i'm not sure, and since i've seen posts here on the board of guys getting ticketed for doing 105kph at slex i do drive at only 100kph there.

overspeeding or not you just don't hog the left lane. Even when i'm doing 120kph i always go back to the right lane after passing.

Bro, my driver got a ticket cruising at 118kph in nlex.
Since then, he rarely goes beyond 105kph.

OT: hope you guys don't mind, I don't want to offend anyone here, but BREAK is entirely different from BRAKE. The correct word when stopping the car is BRAKE.

Overspeeding is overspeeding, whether you're overtaking or not. But, it's not your job to slow down speeders. That's the highway patrol's job.

Let them overtake you and then just laugh at the speeder once he gets apprehended.

kung gusto mauna nung nasa likod eh mauna siya, sumignal lang siya ng maayos at pag bibigyan din siya... ang problema kase yong nasa unahan dead ma lang, di man lang gumamit ng signal lights to acknowledge the request nung nasa likod...
