DOTC Joint Administrative Order 2014-01 setting higher fines for traffic violations

I'm concerned about the P200,000.00 fine imposed on the so-called colorum trucks. We pickup our goods from out suppliers in Metro Manila, and deliver them to our customers. All are properly documented and our trucks are definitely not colorum. Ang problema is how the enforcers interpret the law on colorum. They always ask for the DTI cert, but our company is not registered with the DTI, sa SEC kami registered. And all of our trucks have copies of the SEC papers.

There was one time when one of our trucks was apprehended by an MMDA enforcer, colorum daw kami. He was presented with the SEC papers, OR/CR, and invoice from our supplier. Although in the end, he let our truck go without any charges nor lagay.

But there were times na kelangan talagang mag-lagay para makaalis na agad ang truck.

Now, with the new AO, where supposedly there will be a saparate task force that will enforce and apprehend erring drivers and vehicles, I hope they will be properly briefed before they are out in the streets apprehending cars and trucks.

btw, yung mga L300 vans namin walang naka lagay na company name, capacity, and not for hire. mukhang kailangan na lagyan ah.

May invoice naman issued from our supplier kapag mag pickup kami. Now with this AO, 200K na ang fine. How much kotong na kaya ang hihingiin now?

Yes, may markings, same business name as in the OR/CR, invoice and SEC.
