nakaka badtrip lang kasi pagkaka design nila sa tollgate na ito.kasi ung rfid nila ang katabi cash/loading.tapos etap only.tapos cash.

ang problema..rfid katabi cash loading minsan nahaharangan ung nasa rfid.at nahaharangan din ung nasa etap..kasi nga nagkaka salit salit pa ng linyan

bakait kaya hindi nalang nila ilagay ung rfid dun mismo sa pinaka gitna at ang itabi nila ay ung etap.tapos loading station cash.

RFID----ETAP---LOADING---CASH para hindi nagkaka halo halo mga sasakyan..parang wala din kasing silbi ung rfid at etap ganun din nagtatagal din sa tollgate kasi nga ang daming naka harang..

Dapat sa malayo pa lang ay may road sign & divider para ma pilitan ang driver na pumila sa tama hindi mag ra rambulan/singitan kung kailan malapit na ang booth.

May nilagay silang road markings dati pero hindi naman nila inupdate. Dapat siguro maglagay sila ng numbers na lang sa bawat lane tapos may mga malaking karatula along the way para malaman kung saan koresponde ang numbers.

Hirap din akong tumingin kung nasa tamang lane na nga ba ako. Parang pabago-bago pa ang designation ng cash, rfid at etap lanes.

the problem with these toll terminals, is that the road curves. if one is not a frequent user, it is impossible to "line up to the correct tollbooth" early on.
they were probably designed many years ago, when vehicle density was not a conceivable issue.

yes the road curves to the left for the reason that the toll plaza is dynamically adjusted based on the traffic demand... meaning it can add more toll gates to its left side if needed for a certain traffic direction...

so if the left side is dynamically being changed/adjusted, then we go to the constant right side to implement the prepaid toll booths, but unfortunately the right most side is RESERVED FOR GOVERNMENT VEHICLES! yey government!

so what do we do? share this govt lane with etap,rfid and prepaid loading be strictly offsite (via payment centers like bayad center, sm and the likes, atms, credit cards, etc)

or we modify the toll gate to the dual design used by SLEX... CONS, additional operating COST passed to consumers!

i like that slex scheme. i always use the "other tollgate". it's always less congested than "the main".

Buti pa sa slex parating either leftmost or rightmost toll gate ang rfid. Malayo pa lang, kahit pakurbada alam mo na pinaka gilid ka.

i use the three rightmost lanes. they move faster than those on the left.
also, the lanes curve to the right in that area. motorists can not easily target what lane goes to which booth.
why it has been allowed to go on for so many years, i can only blame the operators.

there was once na pinamimigay ang RFID sticker ng coastal road, parang inisnob lang, libre na nga di pa nag avail...

the question is whats stopping toll operators to install RFID readers on all toll gates? cost??? nope, ipapasa naman sa consumer yan, its more of the more fuel you waste, the more the govt earns thru taxes...

its almost 2017, its about time we shift on the digital era...

Kahit sa madaling araw siksikan diyan sa southbound. Yung left most lane yung easydrive. Kaso yung mga hindi naman naka easydrive dumadaan din sa left most lane saka mag cut papunt sa right.

Kahit kumuha lang sila sana ng 5grade 5 at ipa observe ang flow ng trffic am sure mas makakagaea ng paraan yung mga gradeschoolers.

may design limitation kase ang toll gate ng coastal... based sya sa adaptable design where in the left side is dynamically adjusted based on time and demand. minsan mas madami toll gate ang isang direction and vise versa... the only solution is yong right side, alisin ang dedicated govt lane and use it for prepaid customers... or on a more expensive scale, implement the picture posted above -the slex dual tollgate design...

kung adjustable ung pinaka gitna.dapat un ung gawin nalang nilang.bus truck cash.tapos i fix nalang nila ung pinaka dulo right side 2 easy drive.para alam na kapag nasa nika dulo ka right side eh easy drive kana at wala ng pupunta pa sa dulo kasi nga naka fix na un para sa easy drive...

ang mga bopol kasi nilagay pa sa gitna kaya nagkaka rambol rambol mga sasakyan...ang hina ng utak ng mga yan..
kanina magpapalagay ako ng easy drive.hindi daw pwede kasi umuulan.eh hindi naman sa gitna ng ulan nila ididikit..sabi ko bawal bang mabasa yan pag dinikit..sabi nila dapat daw 24 hours bago mabasa ..eh di sige granted ,may bago sila sa windshield nilalagay may tint sa akin pero ayaw basahin dahil magic tint.sabi nila may tint daw na binabasehan ung easytrip nila.sabi ko i ka cut ko ung portion na pagdidikitan ng easy drive.sabi nila kahit na daw i cut hindi rin daw babasahin kasi sa buong windshield daw ung sensor .pano nangyari un.eh ung micro chips lang naman na maliit ung daw matapat at basahin ng reciever.bakit kailangang tanggalan ng buong tint ung harapan.or palitan ng tint...
