Good day po mga tsikoteers.
Early this afternoon, I was driving off to airport to fetch my parents here in Zamboanga City then suddenly may nakaconvoy na mga sasakyan sa likod ko. Im running about 50kph so they're more than me since some of then have overtaken me, mejo mabilis ang patakbo nila kasi tsaka kakadaan lang namin sa curve kaya di ko masyado napansin sa side mirror ko. mga 6 na sasakyan ata yun. 3 adventures(with LTO sticker sa side) 1 fortuner , nakalimutan ko ano yung 2 pero no police. Nakahazard sila lahat pero walang siren. malamang may LTO official na nakasakay dun.. So gumilid na lang ako ng konti para makadaan sila pero dumating sa point na may mga sasakyan na sa gilid(nakapark sa daan) so bumalik ako sa lane ko. then may sasakyan pa sila sa likod. nagovertake sakin yung fortuner, mag nagopen ng window ng window tapos pinapaside ako. Nagulat talaga ako kasi masikip na ang daan. Ano gusto nya gumilid ako eh makakabangga ako. Then he gives this look na pagalit. nananakot, honestly dun na ako nagalit. tinignan ko rin sya ng masama. Akala mo kung sino. Wala po kasi ako option. Di ako pwede gimilid or magtotal stop ng bigla nasa 40+kph(fd yung sasakyan ko kaya madali makita speed) speed namin. back on our route, papunta pala sila sa hotel. parang may ihahatid lang sa hotel. All I know po kasi is tatabi ka lang if may ambulance sa likod mo or may mga police na nakasiren at nakaconvoy or kapag andito ang presidente or may senator na dumating. Eh wala naman. I grow kasi in the principle na kapag tama ka, ipaglaban mo. pero kung ako man ang mali, next time Ill know what to do.
What is my right po ba if may mga convoy na ganito? dapat po bang tumabi agad?

please kindly answer my questions. Need your advices din po. Any comment is very much appreciated. thx in advance.

Hell no. Hindi ka naman babarilin niyang mga yan eh. Hanggang angas lang yan kasi nga may " SINABI " sila.

Next time,if possible, take pictures/videos with your phone and a.) Bring to media and b.) Write to their bosses (sec or u-sec, if you can find out the agency). Typically, the big bosses are actually low profile (with some exceptions of course) and would not approve of this. Mga low-mid officials ang mahilig mag-feeling.

If it's not worth your trouble, just ignore them.

Yun nga po mejo pinagsisisihan ko. Di ko nakunan ng video.. If next time may maexperience pa rin ako nang ganun. Ill know what to do. Ill not ignore it para naman mabawasan na ang mga kababayan nating mayabang at abusado sa kapangyarihan. It's time to make a change.

Best thing to do is always just give them the "right of way. "

They will be out of your way in seconds anyway.

Tanong ko naman bro,- I assume you're driving on a national road/highway....

Busy ba ang kalye at hindi sila maka-overtake sa iyo (you being at 40KPH-50KPH only)?

Also,- if you're on the national road,- why can't you drive faster?,- say 70-80KPH?

Kaibigan, methink ang tanong na ganito is out of context. The point here is that, gusto ng mga naka convoy I-waive ang right of way niya para maka da-an sila. And driving faster is out of question to the TS.
To the TS. sir, next time maka encounter ka ng ganoon, I'll impart to you on what a driving instructor told me once. He told me "kahit ganyan nga na meron kang right of way, alalahanin mo na meron din left out of way". Meaning, drive defensively, if situation warrants it, let the other guy go ahead. Who knows, baka na-iihi na sya o napupupo. No use of having caused other motorist to get irked na magkaresulta ng aksidente.

Di ko na pinapansin ang mga ganyan kung gusto nila mauna pagbigyan mo na lang mahirap na matsempuhan hanggat makakaiwas.
