IMO, sayang lang ang pera kung papagawa ka pa ng improvised plate, baliktarin na lang ang dealer plate tapos Pentel pen lang ang katapat nyan.

Buti na lang at nakita ko tong thread na to, halatang di nakaka nood ng balita at basa ng dyaryo. May mga nakita na nga akong mga bagong oto na conduction characters ang nakalagay sa plate area nila eh, kala ko personal choice lang yun. Lagi pa naman ako dumadaan sa major roads sa Metro Manila. Hehehe...

This is a better scheme. Wwla ka talagang coding nyan. Sana andyan na rin plaka ko tapos baklas na lang at kabit nong improvised conduction number plate pag coding. Stupid MMDA. They just made thecoding scheme complicated.

Good idea. Better yet, Mabagal at bulok na sistema sa matuwid na daan kuno.
I still cannot get the logic of this memorandum. Kung wala kang plaka at walang conduction sticker, yung ang hulihin.
But if you have conduction sticker, then by all means yun ang reference ng coding. So why need to put the same number
that is already attach at the front & back of the mirrors ? If it's not readable, then require the car manufacturer to enlarge the
conduction stickers.
If their objective is for coding purposes, bakit nila pinababayaan ang mga commemorative plates specially those from PNP, CIDG,
NBI na yung lang ang nasa harapan at wala ng yung regular plate?
If their objective is to reduce the vehicle, here are some ideas they can use:
1. Cut the buses in EDSA by half the current numbers.
2. Strictly implement the law, like jaywalking, sidewalk vendors, illegal parking, mga jeeps na double parking nagiintay ng pasahero
3. Traffic enforcers to man the traffic hindi yung naghahanap lang ng mahuhuli para kotongan.
4. Clear the drainage & esteros para hindi baha agad sa kaunting ulan
5. Encourage car pool and provide incentives
6. Add more coaches for LRT & MRT lines
7. Add more roads & maintain properly.

When is a memorandum be interpreted as a law that even stipulate penalty?

Looks good IMO, though personally if I were to do it, I'd find a way to have the letters painted on the plate itself, as opposed to taping bond paper printouts on the blank plate.

There was this brand new Jazz that I saw that did just that, though it looked like he had the euro plate customized as opposed to simply buying a blank euro plate.

Not sure how much these cost, but personally I think they look nice, and given the inept processing of the LTO, you'd be able to use your customized plates for a couple of months.

Does this mean na when one goes to the LTO to register a car for the 1st time, sasabihin niya ang Conduction Number then saka lang gagawan ng plate number ng plate manufacturer/supplier, then idedeliver dun sa specific agency? Mukhang prone to delay, misdelivery and other complications.
