They are not coding exempt [of course the enforcing enforcer cannot see your front license plate so how can he flag you down?].

Benefits? They don't really have much benefits to the end user. They are vanity items. They usually benefit whatever historic event or person the plates commemorate.

There are also people who collect these plates for posterity.

tama c sir otep.. actually walang commemorative plate na exempted sa coding.. kaso d talaga makikita plate mo.. b4 the enforcer cud see ur plate ending malayo ka na, and they wont waste gas to run after kse coding lng. wala cla kikitain.. d b?
