    Traffic scheme revived

    By MADELYNNE DOMINGUEZ
    August 13, 2009, 6:29pm

To ease the flow of traffic during rush hours, the Pasig City local government unit revived on Thursday the implementation of its own color-coding scheme which the city suspended a few years ago.

Engineer Victor Barral, head of the Engineering Traffic and Parking Management Office, said the scheme was based on Ordinance Number 1 series of 2004 but was later set aside and never fully implemented.

Like the Unified Vehicle Reduction Program more popularly known as color-coding scheme adopted by the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority, vehicles with license plates ending in numbers 1 and 2 are not allowed on the streets on certain hours every Monday, those ending in 3-4 on Tuesday, 5-6 on Wednesday, 7-8 on Thursday and 9-0 on Friday under the Pasig ordinance.

The color coding scheme implementation is between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. in the morning and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the early evening.

This week’s violators will first be given warnings, while those who will be caught starting next week will be issued traffic citation tickets.

as far as i know, walang coding anywhere in muntinlupa.
on C5, as far as i know din, walang coding dun. i don't know how the recent coding implementation in pasig would affect the C5-Pasig area
sa antipolo, it is outside the MMDA responsibility, walang coding dyan unless merong local ordinance like baguio city.

    Sirs,

Manggagaling po ako sa US Embassy, Manila papuntang Batangas City. San po ba magandang dumaan para di po mahuli kasi color coding po ako nun.

Mga tanghali po kasi ang byahe ko so sana me coding window ang madaanan ko.

Balak ko po kasi from US Embassy -> Roxas Blvd. -> Buendia -> Osmena Highway -> Expressway na...

    Thanks.

di ata pwede yung route mo bro. for one, osmena and buendia at the makati area does not have windows. malulufet ang mapsa dyan dahil makati area yan.

what i suggest is US Embassy - Roxas Blvd - EDSA Extension, right to SLEX.

your option 2 is a longer route, but is safer dahil walang coding/may window sa pasay area and paranaque is:

US Embassy - Roxas Blvd - left turn at airport road/naia road - A. Santos Avenue (Sucat) - labas ka ng Sucat exit ng SLEX.

di naman po ako dadaan ng makati sir...

already called MMDA, ang walang lang window ang Malabon, Las Pinas at Makati.... so rest of MM me window from 10am-3pm.

my route will be from US Embassy -> Roxas -> Left turn to Quirino -> SLEX na...

Oks naman po cguro yung madadaanan ko di ba?
