Can you still dictate your ending plate?

it's been 2 years at the other thread where we are talking about if we could have a "wish" for our ending numbers. i can't find it, i posted a comment there saying my SA told me; "ok let me see what i can do."
i asked the SA that i can have any wag lang talaga nueve.
of all the numbers on earth, it's the exact number that i don't want i've got! bwisit! hahaha kapag mamalasin ka naman talaga oo!
and i never returned to post about it then due to my total dismay

Thanks for sharing this. This is total nightmare. Exactly what I'm afraid of happening.

I guess vanity plate is safer if you could afford it.

My SA told me he can't really do anything about it. I just told him the day of my coding car, any number except that, he gave me no assurance. Buti na lang hindi pumareho.

My wife got an Innova last month, & she requested from the SA either thursday or friday coding. The toyota SA said there's no guarantee, but when the plates arrive, & we don't like it, he could have it changed with no additional charge. When I also got my Mazda 3 last month, the Mazda SA said I can't choose, but should I wish for a specific coding day, there's a P5k fee. I then argued that at Toyota, there's no extra charge. She just said ganun talaga. Hassle lang na both our conduction stickers end numbers (7 & 8) are both coding on thursday. Hopefully when our plates arrive, different days sana.

Yup hopefully nga, mag kaiba ending plates namin pag nakuha na. But at the rate the plates are released, mukhang 1 year kami sabay ng coding.

Some dealers say you can request for a specific day of coding. Each dealer charges differently but I guess this is entirely dependent on how well their LTO liaisons work it out.

officially, no can choose. but un-officially, dahil tao din ang kausap nila sa LTO...
so i suppose, incentives and goodwill have their way of convincing those who press the buttons and write on paper..

will i gamble? probably not... my SA says no.. the competing company's employee also says no. i might get stuck with having two cars with the same EP...
bili na lang siguro ng special / vanity plate.. mahal lang nga daw. 20-35K, depending who you're talking to.

Kakabili lang namin ng car two weeks ago, kakabigay lang sa amin ng ORCR ambilis nga eh [emoji23].. Ok lang kaya mismong plate number na ilagay ko sa europlate imbis na conduction number, hindi kaya ako hulihin....[emoji846]

I got my Mazda 3 last July & requested wag lang sana Thursday & Friday. I don't have the physical plate yet but I was just advised recently that my assigned plate number has Thursday ending. Ayos!

Yes nagparequest kami ng ending number. But the unit it's already 1 year and 4months w/o plates pa din.

Afaik, lto has removed special plates.
My toyota SA told me that LTO lately doesnt allow special requests for ending numbers
