What every Filipino driver should know | Autodeal
cars blocking pedestrian lanes are violating Land Transportation and Traffic Code Article IV, Turning and Parking, Section 46 (b). It states that “no driver shall park a vehicle, or permit it to stand, whether attended or unattended, on a crosswalk a.k.a. pedestrian lane”.

May times na guilty din ako dito... my reason, I was driving slow and biglang nag-yellow yung traffic light. Do I stop? or step on the gas?
Since I chose to stop, nasa ibabaw ako ng pedestrian lane.
It also happened to me yesterday on my motorcycle.
Kaya it made me wonder... dapat ba ituloy ko na lang and harangan ko yung intersection

May 4th, 2023 10:33 PM #6parang yellow line siguro.
if the yellow light catches you on the ped xing, ituloy mo na siguro.
that's what the TE told me.
"kapag nag yellow at nakatapak na kayo sa yellow line, i-tuloy na ninyo."
come to think of it, there's no such violation as "beating the yellow light".

Hindi ba sa paranaque, especially sa sucat ave, strict Ang mga traffic enforcers sa ganyan? It's either na sitahin ka or may notice na Lang daw matatanggap sa Bahay niyo stating your violation na kadalasan iyong "overstepping" the ped line caught via their street CCTVs.

May 5th, 2023 10:22 AM #10I think what Doc is referring to is the “Yellow Box” in the intersection you’re supposed to keep clear. Pag nag yellow na dun, tuloy mo na nga. I’d drive with a sense of urgency, but I wouldn’t speed up too much. Why kamo?
----> Because iba na panahon ngayon:
- There are idi*ts (2, or 4 wheel) who jackrabbit start the moment the light turns green for them and you can get “T-boned” (i.e. 90 degree collision smack in the middle of the left or right side of the car). Mentality kasi ng iba, drag racing christmas tree yung stoplight.
- Maraming 2 wheels na mahilig din mag counterflow, so pag turn mo from an intersection, head on collision ka with a motorcyclist illegally counterflowing. Kung hindi naman moving yung motor, naka harang/counterflow dun sa lane ninyo while waiting for their light to turn green, imbes na pumila ng maayos behind other vehicles in the proper lane.
Hindi ka pa rin nakakasigurado, but mas may chance kang makaiwas/hinto or take whatever evasive action that way.
Puwede i try, 1. Palit air filter 2. Linis throttle body 3. Linis MAF sensor 4. Check spark...
high idle RPM at engine start
