Driver injured after pick-up truck uncontrollably slid down hotel parking in Pasig City | Coconuts Manila
My guess is SUA a.k.a brake/accelerator pedal confusion.Lt. Marie Bala of the Pasig City Police told Coconuts Manila that the driver suddenly lost control of the vehicle’s brakes, which was why it uncontrollably slid down the parking ramp that spirals down until it was out of the building.
“He was shocked when the brakes suddenly did not work,” Bala said in Filipino.
i agree.
some folks can't believe they erred.
it happened to me, too.
but i was able to regain control, before i crashed into mom's prize pasos de bonggabilya.
i thought i was stepping on the brake... until i decided there's still a second brake pedal to the left.
buti na lang, nag-down shift the car.
I compiled some parking rate info sa self made website ko. You can visit at https://parkewhereph.com however i think marami pang updates needed in makati, BGC and Ortigas CBD area so i'll check some post here constantly. Makakatulong any updated rates dito sa thread para madagdag ko sa website. Thanks!

So podium's parking has been a mess last Friday and today.
They are trying to implement automated parking but the system they had has many glitches.
Boom that wont open.
Payment kiosk that are in unconvenient place
Long queue just to get out
Buti na lang ramps are not steep kundi madaming cars ang mag roll back.

Any new candidates for best and worst parking?
In fairness kay Uptown Mall, though nothing can be done with their parking layout, nag-improve yung navigation sa parking nila with the addition of colorful themes per basement floor and numbered posts: by animals, marine life, Philippine festivals, etc.
Kailangan mo na lang tandaan na nagpark ka malapit sa Post #201 "Stingray" for example.
Parked last Sunday on isetann recto as i have something to do nearby.
Steep incline.
Dark.
Madumi
May karatula na bawal umihi so most likely may umiihi nga.
Maliit ang parking lengthwise.

Uniwide Las Pinas basement.
Langya, di ako nagparking pero sinilip ko when I went there.
Nakaka kilabot kung totoo man ang balibalita na may pinatay daw doon at binaon mismo doon. Nagsisi ako bakit ko pa sinilip![]()
Parking in Sheridan Towers is very very bad..... Especially if you are a unit owner and you do not have a parking slot. They only allot 3 slots for guest parking!! So if you need to park, nearest would be Robinsons Forum or SM Light pa then take a trike going there! Risky naman if you park sa side street ng Sheridan St, I got towed there once because I needed to unload some stuff. It's very hassle lalo na if mag-isa ka and you just need to unload some things. Now the guards won't allow me to park inside kasi SOP daw dapat may driver present sa car habang nag-uunload! Because they let you park perpendicular to the reserved slots' parking. Paano kung mag-isa ka???
We are there at least once a year.
Sayang....
New Caloocan City Hall basement parking. Wide and long parking space, madulas lng ung ramp going up when raining.

Look: We may have found the country's most high-tech parking building
It can recognize your plate number, and has CCTV cameras monitoring every parking slot

Next to traffic congestion, the lack of available parking buildings or spaces might be the most dreadful aspect of driving in Metro Manila. Many times, after an already long and grueling time on the road, you roll up into a parking building only to encounter even more inconveniences to deal with.
This is the problem that SM wants to address with one of its latest and greatest innovations: the country's first SMart Parking System. Installed in parking floors 2 to 6 of the National University MOA (right beside S'Maison at Conrad Manila), SMart Parking uses "car recognition software" and an advanced "find-my-car system" that rids the parking experience of many inconveniences. Here are its features:
Car recognition software
The entry and exit points of the SMart Parking are equipped with smart cameras that can recognize license plates, automatically opening for guests whose plate numbers are listed in the system. This means that effectively, VIPs who reserve a slot can come and go without so much as having to press a button. SM foresees more than a few opportunities for this to help its customers: Imagine having a ticket to a basketball game at the Mall of Asia Arena that comes with an automatic parking space. You'll have time to grab some popcorn before the start of the first quarter.
If you've made a reservation and have had your plate registered in the system, the gate opens automatically
