December 5th, 2016 05:44 AM #2CONFIRMED, beep card is working at NLEX, but only on balintawak northbound toll station...
pros: no physical money involved, cant be shortchanged...
cons: no receipt so you cant join any raffle promos, for now it is only installed on balintawak toll station and the teller needs to input on his/her station the beep card payment... so its not tap and go, its hand over the card to the teller, the teller adjust something to his/her PO then tap and go...
i wonder why they won't shift to the RFID sticker, when everyone elese dose already (slex & cavitex), too much fuel is wasted and the environmental impact on unnecessary idling of vehicles while waiting on queue to pay...

^ I just tap my beep card on the receiver. Hold it for about 3-4 seconds then wait for confirmation.
I also said "beep card po" to the attendant.

December 21st, 2016 11:06 AM #10ok sana easytrip but the cost of the unit is not easy on the pocket (ok sana kung madalas sa NLEX) compared to others who have shifted to RFID sticker that can even give it out for FREE
why won't NLEX use its easydrive RFID and still prefer the old easytrip, yes i know there is a change to be done on the equipment which they can recover from the toll fees, but what other reasons are stopping them from doing this?Last edited by Stigg ma; December 21st, 2016 at 11:30 AM.
someones are (at last!) loudly asking, "why did they turn off the countdown timers?"
