This is exactly what we have been doing. Stay na lang sa bahay or mag uber na lang (na sometimes 1 hr bago makahanap). Mahirap lang magstart ng buhay dito sa pinas kung hindi ka makagalaw kaya nagtatanong ako ng tips sa ibang parents.

I think it's admirable that the TS can go out with just him and his baby. I don't have a child but seeing my cousins with their babies, I know how difficult it is to go out with a baby or toddler in tow. Dami daming dala.

Aside for the car seat, maybe consider getting a yaya too?

Both sides of our family have been searching for a yaya 6 months prior to our arrival. We found one but she requested to start after new year. Unfortunately she changed her mind 3 days ago.

I've used the 3 variants ng upuan na. Infant seat, yung sunod dun then now yung booster seat. Dun sa unang dalawang type nakakabit lang sila sa ELR belts ng oto, yung seat mismo may sariling belts for the occupant.
Yung gamit namin ngayon na booster seat, uses the cars belts na pati sa occupant.
Ganyan na gamit ko eversince, either marami or dalawa lang kami.

Pagkakaalam ko ALR belts were the norm dati tapos puros ELR na ngayon, might also be the reason kaya wala ka makita.

I have no experience sa isofix seats pero kahit ata ito may play pa din kasi yung attachment point sa taas, strap lang naman gamit nun to hook to the rear of the seat.

Meron akong Graco infant seat galing US din na merong adapter para sa seat belt (other than the seat) pero I forgot the name. Wala akong nakikitang ganun dito sa Pinas

We have always used car seats for my daughter back she was smaller. The seat consumes a chunk of the area on the rear but it is good to err on the side of safety. Children are not like adults so the standard seat belts will not work for them. I suggest you invest in a booster seat that can be used for toddlers up to they big enough to use the standard seat belts.

An emergency locking retractor alone is not enough to install a car seat: the seat belt MUST be locked pre-crash when a car seat is installed.
