Gigibain lahat? Parang sayang naman. Kasi gumanda talaga yung Avenida (from Carriedo - Recto).

Lim, in another interview, also vowed to allow protest rallies on Mendiola as a respect to the protesters’ constitutional rights to freedom of expression and freedom to air grievances against government.

“Basta nag-apply ng permiso, lahat ng tao may karapatan mag-rally at sabihin ang reklamo nila sa public officials,” he said in a radio interview.

mas lalong namatay ung business jan sa avenida once it got closed to traffic. naging tambayan na siya ng snatcher.

avenida's closure also caused horrendous traffic to the alternate routes the jeeps would take.

it's about time. as noble as atienza's intentions were, hindi nagclick e.

    finally! good news ito.
worst thing that happened to the sta cruz & binondo area yang beautification ni atienza. traffic na with those roads passable eh isara mo pa at gawing plaza at tambayan ng mga pokpok. isama sana pati yung muelle/tabing ilog area.
And kahit plaza yun I tried passing there on a late night commute, grabe ang dilim nung after 10PM na. di ko na inulit, nagreroute ako or nagtataxi na lang.

Dapat may managot dito. Tsk tsk. For sure, may kumita dito, and they should be made accountable for wasting public funds.

I think paving blocks lang yung nilagay ni Atienza. And its a good thing cause its detachable and reusable. Had Atienza known that his son was not going to win, he might have removed it earlier and used it some place else.
