Big PUV companies are owned by law makers; so law makers will not blame themselves. This is convenient for them because they can just buy another car, that is, if they dont have one. Also, it will look like they are doing something no matter how stupid this proposal is. However, it is a different situation when the presidnt is actually considering this one. AFAIK, he does not own any bus lines. IMHO, if Pnoy really approves this then I will really believe the tsismis that he has a mental problem or a low IQ.

ah yes... signs of desperation coupled with lack of creativity.
a favorite character of mine says, "there are always possibilities".. and his equally illustrious friend, says, "there is always another way"..

BTW, is our leader on the car manufacturers' payroll?

Another is find a way to reduce the number of jeepneys, it was a stopgap measure before pero marami na mga UV-Express, taxi at mra na mga motorsiklo (although problema rin sila). Then also find a way to reduce old vehicles, not outright banning, pero maybe make it more expensive to register until such time na hindi na practical at kusa na i-dispose. Pwede siguro ganun gawin sa mga jeepney.

Tao na lang lagyan ng number coding. Pag ending in 1&2 ang birthday mo bawal ka gumising pag monday and tuesday, 3&4 pag tuesday and wednesday, 5&6 wednesday and thursday, 7&8 thursday and friday, 9&0 pag friday and saturday... so 4 times a week ka lang papasok sa school o trabaho.
