Parang nangako MMDA na they will provide shuttle from the coastal terminal to the BPOs in the MOA area. How true is this? Meron naman kaya?

Andyan na yan. Ano pang magagawa? It's not like people didn't know they will close major roads, security will be extremely tight.

Don't tell me you all didn't expect traffic will be crazy after closing several major roads. Common sense na lang yan.

As for the people na traffic. Too bad that's life. Life is not fair. Live with it.

I have to do a double take and make sure hindi si Abaya nag post nito hehehe. Parang yung famous line na hindi naman fatal yang traffic na yan. Are you trying to na because we are airing our grievance or our whining we lack common sense?

It's not really about whining as it's water under the bridge already. It's more of lesson learned through a horrible experience so as 19 yrs from now, the leader would hopefully pick up a lot from this experience. Who know's the president by then is a tsikoteer today reading this thread.

Ilan na kaya ang population ng pinas 19 years from now. Baka di na kailangan ang another APEC para maglakad na lang kayo dyan sa Edsa dahil sa tindi ng traffic.

Na traffic ka na diba? So what are you gonna do about the inconvenience this summit created? Summit is at its tail end pwede ka pa humabol Kung meron ka plano gawin to make the state remove all the Barriers for the special lane and open all roads. Pati no fly zone baka pwede mo paalis na rin

some people are just venting, sir. Granted some reactions are over the top, they're just trying to keep their sanity. Better here in the forums/social media than doing something really stupid out on the streets(not talking about the golf guy btw. that guy's cool)

Some people rant about anything and everything the government does. If that's their way of keeping their sanity, oras na sigurong magpatingin sa doktor.

Well, this is a sign of a healthy forum. I think shadow is just playing the role of the devil's advocate. There's nothing wrong but to make one engaged on critical thinking. My thoughts.

Exactly. Not everyone is complaining, some are just sharing their experiences. I expected traffic to be horrible but not at this gravity. I really feel for the people who live in Cavite. I have colleagues who were at work at 9 am and left at 12 am waiting for traffic to subside. I think they waited for Skyway to open because traffic was still bad at C5 and SLEX. I left at 1 am and I was home in 10 mins. I don't mind staying late in the office though since I don't have any distractions.

I am not hating on the government. I would vote for Noynoy again if only the president could have a second term. I do hope all the inconveniences we experienced are worth it. My former professor attended the summit yesterday and this was what he had to say on FB. And he is not the type to complain about the government.

Bro props to you for being cool about all of this hoopla, this a free forum and I am free to air my sentiments. Di ko na papatulan pa yang very sensible post mo at siguradong hahaba pa at magmumukhang away bata. Yes, im on my way to work because i cant afford a one day leave with no pay. Im now stuck along coastal.

Btt: Sana lang totoo yung pangako ng MMDA na shuttle from coastal mall to MOA para naman di ako mabasa ng ulan.

And I need to go to airport tonight to pick up my roommate.

I'm hoping traffic won't be as bad as last night but if it is, there's nothing I can do about it. I have to bear and crawl all the way to the airport and back.

Should I blame the govt for closing roads going to airport? Nope I won't, flight was just a wrong timing, can't be cancelled since it's a business trip.

My point is alam naman natin lahat ganito mangyayari. Sinabi na Kung walang important or emergency Iwasan na mga lugar na affected. Kung kailangan talaga pumunta eh di expect the worse.

Meron pa ako nababasa na APEC delegates in BMW, common Filipinos walking kilometers. APEC delegates secured by thousands of police/military.

As if naman yun mga naglalakad eh pag walang APEC naka BMW sila.

Security is over the top, doesn't it fitting for head of states that came here to attend this summit?

People here don't really know how to run a country hence they only see one side of things = all negative.

you did not include the scene of the two humans carrying the donkey tied to a pole, and the final scene of the donkey getting loose and falling into the river.
i think the lesson of that story is, you can't please everyone at the same time.

I hope someone will post those scenes as I haven't seen them yet. Yung donkey posted lang ang umiikot noon pa sa social media.

I think that's one of our faults as Pinoys-- want to appear nice and civil in real life pero bashers, whiners and ranters pag online.

Means to vent off steam, I guess. Cheaper than seeing a psychiatrist or psychologist [emoji23] [emoji1]

in the complete story, the couple, in trying to please every other critic, ends up losing the donkey when it fell and presumably drowned in the river.
the lesson was, if you try to please everybody, you might end up pleasing no one.
