That's what is so weird though. Cancellation of the franchise is done by the executive (LTFRB) not the elected official.

Once we see who among the elected go up in arms over the cancellation of their franchise then we can clearly see who they have by the pocket/balls, other than the normal rabble from the partylist groups which should really be non-existent in our congress as they only muddy more of the waters.

More to the point though, ultimately, if they cancel their franchises, I think it would be anti-poverty. Because then they would be forced to find other means of livelihood, and hopefully be contributors to society and the economy as well instead of shackling all of us with their backward thinking ways.

Old jeepneys are no longer sustainable nor economically practical. Wake up Pinoys!

    many years ago,
    pacific northwest city.
there is an electric bus station in the middle of nowhere.
there's a busy building a hundred meters before it, and a school a hundred meters after it.
    i ask why.
"we don't play favorites here. xxx meters interval. period."
    was he pulling my leg?

    Aren't they already Master C?

They don't want to change, they believe their way is the only way and that new methods and more efficient modes of transport aren't necessary to help them as well. To me, that is already anti-progress.

Good thing about transport strikes, no traffic congestion expected today.

Just stay away from the protest areas, of course.

Just pass by earlier at commonwealth, there is unusually high volume of people waiting for their rides.
Ang kawawa is mga typical everyday worker na just want to get to their work on time.

Jeepney modernization nga eh. Not phase out what they are trying to say to brainwash their members. Kesyo tatak pinoy na ang jeep blah blah blah. Baka tatak talangka.

That is what the govt need to figure out.
They are in the position cause they need to solve problems. Not us ordinary citizens.
