Baka yung non-toll part. The tollways will keep most likely keep their usual limits.

Besides, how would they enforce? Ngayon na, bihira yung hulihan kasi wala naman speed guns. Sa NAIAX lang medyo strict yung enforcement.

Yep. That is most likely the area where it is covered since it is an MMDA jurisdiction. So the stretch from Quirino to Nichols toll gate into SLEX.

Honestly, re apprehension, they'd ask for another budget injection to add more no contact apprehension cameras under their "Command Center".

But I would honestly prefer the cameras (fixed) than untrained staff with speed guns. It was one of the issues when they first implemented it along Commonwealth I recall. Where the MMDA personnel (purposely or unwittingly) flicked their wrist while getting your speed to get a faster readout on their speed gun (laser travels a shorter distance as it "returns" to the sensor) resulting in getting false "higher" speed readout.

Is the May Huli Ba website still updating with recent apprehensions? I know it is still live, just don't know if it has recent apprehensions posted on it anymore.

I have just been to Singapore and the cab driver was complaining that their 8-lane highway had a 50kph limit at certain times, even when there's hardly any vehicle on the road.

I believe this is done so that vehicles don't queue up at bottlenecks. If you have a relatively consistent traffic flow, there's less chance for queue to form.... like a real life QoS. In theory, it should work out for everyone.

Even then they will probably have a near 50km/h average speed. But with us here in Metro Manila, 30km/h average speed involving mostly travel in Edsa at around 7am is already considered fast.
