AFAIK walang plate na exempted from coding. even the vanity plates. theyre just an excuse kasi hindi makita ng pulis yung plate ending mo.

special plate 3 letters 2 nos. P25k w/ receipt plus 5k for the boys (front and back plates). non transferable for brand new cars only. vanity plates not more than 6 digits or nos. P15k 1 plate only use the old plate at the other end, for keeps you can transfer it if you have a new vehicle.

yung 25k 3 letters 2 digits of your choice for bnew cars walang coding yun, may papers na ibibigay sayo LTO

15k yung 3 letters 3 digits of your choice

yung mga extra na nabayad niyo na 5k di kasama yun, kami 15k lang talaga binayad namin

Paying Php 25,000 to get a special license plate inorder to avoid the color-coding scheme seems very reasonable. Individuals or families who can only afford to maintain and own a single vehicle, may opt for this instead of buying another spare/extra vehicle just so they can have a vehicle to use on the day when their primary vehicle are barred by color-coding.

i agree. 25K to avoid coding would indeed be very reasonable for a single-vehicle household. the question is.. for how long would your exemption from the coding scheme be? 1 year? 2 years? forever? (hehehe)

Your guess is as good as mine. But I think forever is the likely case.

mga sir, madalas ako makakita ng plate # na 2 lang yung digits (e.g., KDL 88). ganito na ba ang format ng newly registered vehicles? or special plate # 'to ng government officials' vehicles? TIA!
