:praning:

Kasi naman... You're trashing the unit, the owners and those in line... Target more on the unscrupulous practice. Expose the dealerships involved. Para alam ng lahat kung sino ang iiwasan. You'd be lot helpful that way...

Look at Hero... He started this thread not just to get back at the dealerships, but to help those still in line, find alternative choices. That's something very helpful indeed!

i already chose a 2001 nissan patrol ZD 3.0L GU over a brand new 2005 toyota fortuner VVT-i 2.7L for the reasons i stated in another thread.

okay naman ang looks and stance sa fortuner.

but between a second hand patrol and the 2.7 fortuner, sa patrol nalang ako, hehehehe

i think one thing din na hinihintay ng toyota is the price increase and the evat to take place..kasi when that happens lahat ng nakapila will either bite the bullet or eventually join this thread..(i guess toyota's bet is on the bullet biting) the once attractive pricing will reach about 1.5M for the gas - 1.8M for the diesel factoring in the add-ons etc...

but let me remind you, its NOT the 'TUNA that we dont like nor the waiting list..its the Toyota dealers' scheming ways...lets be clear on that!

    Hero, talagang Bayani ka!

This is what I was saying in Mushi Mushi's other thread. If you're dead-set on the Fortuner, don't just wait patiently in line... YOU HAVE TO DANCE TO THE TUNE OF YOUR NEAREST TOYOTA DEALER at the expense of those who are waiting patiently in line! However, if dancing is beneath you or you are not willing to shell out anything more than SRP for your Fortuner, you should realize that there are alternatives out there. Now's the best time to shop around. Hero did it. Bolantoy did it. 111Prez did it. Jagxtrm did it. You would be surprised at what some non-Toyota dealers are throwing in for free (huge discounts, zero-interest, free insurance, etc.) When the anticipated price increase become reality (which may be sooner than some of you think), it would already be too late since the price of all new vehicles, regardless of brand, will be affected. Not to mention gasoline, electricity, etc. etc.

    Happy shopping everyone!

the diesel sorento comes with the lx (same v6 look) trim na rin
ewan ko lang pricing..isa pa yang mga kia dealers..mga talyer na nagpapanggap na casa...not only that they dont have a unit in stock, i highly doubt if they have parts for it..

For those interested, the gls pajero 3.8l v6 gas is on sale. There's two units left at citimotors pasong tamo, 2.35m less 170k(standard casa discount) less 20k(kinulit ko ulit) pa so lumalabas mga 2.16m. Didn't get the gas variant coz' I like the diesel variant better, and besides there are only two colors left, blue and red di ko masyadong gusto.

Soooo if you add all the hidden charges that the unscrupulous dealers of toyota force into their customers, the pajero starts to look like a bargain.

    Happy car shopping!

PS I'm extremely satisfied with my new did pajero.

Where in the world can you find a situation like this...a car buyer willing to shell out his hard earned money of P1.3M, ask to pay a whopping reserv. fee of P20k and wait in line for 10mos.(or maybe till kingdom come!). And he/she cant' even choose to pay in cash or even choose his own financing scheme (WTF) and all unnecessary add ons like in house insurance, etc.
    Onli in da Philippines!!!
What happes to that adage...Customer is King! huh?

It seems TMPI is lording it over there and so untouchable!
