    All of the above. The name (definitely), the build quality and the reputation. Others may surpass it in terms of power, handling and amount of kit, but they can't overcome that general bias by the public... by the people who feel that it's "Toyota or nothing".

    Plus the Altis is the ultimate non-car. Drive and forget... which is the way most non-car enthusiasts like it.
