Since I am not a speed freak I did a short 180KPH on Innova 2.0 vvti LPG fueled on NLEX. Just testing the power of SGI LPG on open road, kaya pa ng engine pero di na kaya ng dibdib ko.

I know what you mean; especially after i got to see the wreck yards of the NLEX and SCTEX where the Innovas dumped there did not seem to do well. Saw a unit that turned turtle and the roof was just collapsed at both the front and rear and another unit in a frontal collision and from the hood to the A-pillar and B pillar portion was heavily intruded into the compartment (hit a truck maybe?).
I don't condone going for the "how fast can this go" but it has to be done in the proper conditions (open road, no unknown na kasabay... no racing) and you are sure on the condition of your car, especially your tires.Last edited by vinj; April 17th, 2009 at 01:34 AM.

Generally speaking Innova is very stable at high speed, no body and under chassis rattling, steering is acceptable, and the brake system great, Innova is better than some 1.3 and 1.6 Sedans that I have used. Its just me that can't sustain high speed driving. My eyes is sticking on the speedometer and not on the road and I'm always considering breaking distance
My Lancer 1.3 would go body and under chasis shaking beyond 140KPH.
If you happened to see wrecked Innova's on the impounding area is because its driver don't exercise safe driving limits, and safe braking distance. Both the D4d and VVTi can really go fast and if the driver feels he is doing Schumacher and forgot safety then accidents can really happen.
I don't have proof but it seems like the CRV shrank from the previous generation.
