People like to claim that CBU Japan cars are better built than their Thai counterparts. Personally, as long as the car's good and reliable, it doesn't matter where it's built.
For example, I'd rather get a CBU-Thailand Altis than a CBU-Japan Vitara. Where the car came from isn't as important as how the car looks, how it drives, what features it has, how much it costs, and how easy it is to maintain.Last edited by jut703; August 10th, 2015 at 12:08 AM.

Subaru's are CBU Japan.
Mazda's are mostly CBU Japan except for Mazda2 and BT-50 (not sure).
Usually the higher end models with little volume of most Japanese brands are CBU Japan.
Be careful with channels like "China Observer" on YouTube. There is a clear bias in their posts and...
Xiaomi E-Car
