    Just asking mga sir/madam...

you can share additional info about A/T Cars in case of emergency.

    TIA

In case of complete brake failure, you can slow down the vehicle using the A/T gears by selecting 3 to 2 to 1 manually. This will let the engine help slow the vehicle until at such speed you can safely engage the hand brake and turn off the engine. NOTE: do not turn off the engine until you have come to a complete stop because modern car engines also provide power steering.

On (steep) inclines, you can engage the hand brake to hold the car in place. Then when you want to move, shift to D and give it a little gas. Once you feel the car is moving, release the hand brake. This procedure is supposed to be covered in basic driver training.

+1. Mas madali nga dapat dahil A/T naman ung car. Kaso minsan pag sobrang matarik then mabigat ung sasakyan minsan hindi kaya ng hand break. I experienced it sa DMax namin. 5 persons then full ng gamit yung likod. Pagka handbrake, umatras parin ung sasakyan.

In those cases, you have to apply the foot brake to aid in holding the vehicle on the incline. Best is to know your vehicle's capacity and just wait at the bottom of the incline until the road is a clear drive all the way to the top.

    +1 sir

Di po ba masisira ang A/T in case you turn off the engine while it's moving (L)?

siskristine at brolebron...mahihina nga handbrakes nyo....pa-adjust nyo...

with or without load, di dapat tatakbo ang sasakyan kapag nakahand o parking brake...

Ang ginawa ko apak sa preno then binitiwan ko onti onti ung clutch then apak bigla sa accelerator then release ng handbrake. First time ko naexperience yun ganun dahil ung Dmax is 1 month palang.
