hi, just got my 2014 fortuner. i just noticed that we cant play videos while the vehicle is in motion. i know this was put in for safety measures, i just want playing videos enable for my passengers especially on long drives. any way to bypass this? any particular shops you can recommend in banawe to get this done? thanks a lot in advance. cheers!

I think you have to manually disable it by cutting off or removing a wire connection under the transmission gear shifter.

Sir kung fortuner niyo meron nang touch screen head unit medyo redundant na magpakabit pa ng ganyan since yung video out nung back up camera pwede naman iconnect dun sa head unit niyo para mas malaki ang nakikita niyo

There should be a way to adjust it in the settings menu.

wala syang options to disable sa settings menu nya. any particular shops sa banawe that can disable this? thanks

yeah as per suggestion of ser Louie is certainly another option
if your H.U. does support video input...then you just hook-up a camera.
but you would be missing a very cool feature that is AUTO-DIMMING.
kasi ang dami inconsiderate drivers at night who blind you with their high-beams on...

hello. question po. minsan po kasi kapag umaapak ako sa brake habang nakahinto may sound akong naririnig pag bukas bintana na parang iniipit na bakal, alam ko naman po na umiipit ang preno pag inaapakan ang pedal pero sa fortuner ko lang po kasi na-encounter yung ganitong sound pag nakahinto, ok naman po braking power niya. may ganitong sound din po ba fortuner niyo? fortuner g dsl a/t. thanks.

Sir I would like to buy a Fortuner 2005 to 2009. I would to know what are the advantages and disadvantages of a diesel verses gas, and I have heard that on the D4D that timming belt needs to be changed at 80K is this true? Where can I find more information on the engines? Thanks

Why is it so hard to buy a Fort nowadays? Almost all dealers in Manila have no units available. Kindly let me know if you know of dealers with units readily available (G A/T Diesel). Thanks!

paano mawala yun fuel filter warning light?

it stays on. not flashing.

nag palit ako ng fuel filter na. pero kailangan daw i reset ito.

ano ideas how?


edit:
ok na guys. i did a google search. here's what i did (share ko na rin sa inyo)

remove power plug from fuel filter pump
turn ignition to ON, not START
quickly plug in back the power plug
turn off ignition
then turn in on again, you will see the fuel filter pump indicator will be turned off.
start your engine. drive away happy.

Gas engine Fort and Innova are using Timing Chain, not timing belt.
