All cars whether diesel or gas will eventually fail without proper maintenance. My spark plugs were changed to iridium for better performance and longer change interval, air filter were changed to hurricane as they are washable, using fully synthetic oil and Baldwin filters, fuel filter takes longer to replace compared with diesel. Suspension I believe are the same between gas and diesel forts except for the 4x4. Check nyo sir yung club forum for more details. Dami nyo at matutunan.

para sa akin pag ganyang mabigat na sasakyan it makes sense mag diesel. diesel are made for torque. at 1600rpm palang sisipain ka na sa pwet ng full power torque ng diesel. sa gas mataas na rpm pa yun ....

downside maraming maintenance sa diesel so treat it well and it will treat you well din ....

fuel cost ang pinaka malaking gastos ng car ownership so think about it carefully too .... fuel only on reputable and reliable gas station. and fuel the diesel with the highest grade diesel possible.

Sa mga naka diesel AT owners (mine is 2014 model)...may kadyot ba sa inyo when shifting from N to D without stepping on the brake? Yung ibang gas fed SUV na nadrive ko na wala.

Auto supply should have them like the

*tire wrench (you need to find out the bolt size installed on the wheel). Notice it has that hole in the middle? You will need to attach the red hook (and extension) to the hole inorder to lower spare tire.

*red hook. this is need to lower the spare tire. just measure the length needed and make sure it fits inside the cut out hole in the rear bumper.

*jack (hydraulic type)

*hand tools - flat and philips screwdriver , pliers, etc (you can add as needed other tools you need)

Mga sir, ask ko lang ano ba talaga ang recommended psi ng tires ng Fortuner 2.5G AT 2014?Nalilito nako kasi sabi ng SA ko 38 daw, but in toyota otis website it says 30psi. Nagbackread ako some of the members here keep it at 29-31. Yung SA ko ba yung nagkamali ng info? Please help! TIA!

Mataas ang 38. Matagtag yan. Mag 38 ka pag mabigat karga. Ok ang 30. I inflate 32 on our montero

if that sticker to the left of the driver, on the door pillar is still there, it should give the numbers.
the owner's manual should also indicate it.
whatever that number, i add 10%, because i like a light steering wheel.
