in 2005, the innova was selling like hotcakes. i got lucky.. my unit arrived with the second wave..
the fortuner then was selling like license plates... money now, then wait for months for the unit to arrive....

yes, i also remember those days... i got my Fortuner after a very long wait in 2006... it has served me well up to this point... i'd rather drive it than my montero... next to the Camry... the other one is the 2011 Innova that remains sturdy but the latest Innova seems to look more like a legit wagon...

Ako naman ay the other way around. I'm not a fun of either a fortuner or innova driving within the city. kahit subcompact na M/T pa okay na ko dun. Hirap kaya isingit at imando ang SUV sa mga narrow roads in Metro manila. Sa bagay bawat driver naman ay may kani-kanyang preferences lang yan.

I've ridden the Fortuners of family and friends countless times and I really don't mind the "matagtag" ride at all. But an all new model set for arrival in two years is a huge letdown. I don't wanna drive around in an "old" model in just a short span of time. Haha.

Although I must say, I'm already very familiar with the interior of the Fort, which is both a good thing and a bad thing. Good because the family and I already feel at home in the cabin, and bad because this means the Fort has been in the market for so long that we have become sanay to how the interior works.

Sana lang talaga they retained the old variants and didn't add watered down versions. Hanggang 1.3M lang talaga ang budget eh.

I think its a closed group. You have to be an official member of the FCP before you can join the FB group. Im an active forumer there but not really a bonafide FCP member yet. Schedule does not permit me to join the EBs. You may register at FCP forums and can learn a lot from the gurus there. Hope to meet you in one of the FCP EBs.

And nakita ko lang difference are leather seats at headlight washers. Parang ayoko naman magtanong sa sales rep kasi di rin sila sure. hehe
