Antagal naman. Pero may rumour na 2015 daw.
Hi guys i have the 2014 fortuner g. The radio is gps ready but no antenna nor the sd card. Called winterpine it will cost me 25k for the antenna and sd card which is outrageous. Is there a cheaper alternative without sacrificing the quality. You may just PM me if you cant divulge here. Thanks
Hi Sirs,
Im a newbie and hoping that someone can help me out. Got a new Fort 2.7G just recently.I intend to break it in this wkend. Is it recommended that it should be passenger loaded (full) or otherwise? Also, i have heard that tire pressure should be at least 34psi for better FC?
Thanks a lot!![]()
break in means to use it normally and sensibly. bring your family along. that's what the 7 seats are for.
wag mangarera. some say do not go over 80 kph, but i'm not so sure..
wag magsunog ng goma.
wag magpa-iyak ng gulong.
at sundin ang pms schedule and recommended settings and pressures..
have fun.

Good evening! I'm a newbie here. Help! Need opinion from 2013 fortuner owners. We are sure in getting a brandnew 7 seater suv this month but really torn between fortuner and montero. Im 80% into getting fort g a/t because we like the style better than montero but was told by some friends that it's matagtag. We're having a hard time finding a toyota branch that allows test drive. Matagtag ba talaga? Is it a better deal than montero? Or mas comfortable montero? Thank you!
Ride is more stable because of the suspension. Not matagtag for me. SUVs with high center of gravity, I prefer stability and safety. So it depends on your requirements.
Guys
ano differences ng 2.5G DSL sa 2.5V DSL? aside from the price difference? can anyone help? thanks
We have a 2008 Fortuner and a 2012 Montero. On being "matagtag": I have always felt that the difference between the two is negligible from low to normal speeds (up to maybe 80 kph). It is slightly more noticeable at high speeds. I'm always on the driver's seat, but my passengers tell me that the 2nd row is about the same (never had 3rd-row passengers). The big difference is in the steering. The Montero is VERY VERY heavy when compared to the Fort. Some people like that. For me, unless we are talking about German sports cars, I'd take comfort any time. HTH.
BTW, we have recently made a deposit for a new Fort.![]()
Thank you lapella and taylor. Good to know that the tagtag is negligable esp for 2nd row passengers. I have an 8 month old baby and he sits 2nd row so i dont want to compromise his comfort. I also didnt know that fort's strong suspension is actually for safety and stability. Was that the cause for some montero accidents- the soft suspension? Just read about it online. Lastly, i really want to experience it myself pero parang ang hirap maghanap ng toyota brance which allows a fortuner 2014 test drive. Tatlong showroom na napuntahan ko and walang test drive- why o whyit will be my deciding factor. Thanks again.
I dont get the "tagtag" misconception tbh sanayan lang yan i mean if you have never owned an SUV before if course you'll notice the rougher ride than a say compact car but if you use it everyday its gonna be a non issue ....

Sir, check mo muna kung yung fort mo is GPS equipped na or GPS ready pa lang. kasi if GPS ready pa lang yan, kelangan mo pa bilhin sa Casa or somewhere yung SD card for navigation. i think it will cost you about Php25K sa casa. If equipped na, just press the Navi button on your head unit.
Its very costly for a GPS (P25,000) in my personal opinion...Id rather spend it on other more useful or safety improvements. Really, GPS is useful if you are a foreigner or totally stranger/new in the place but i suggest just putting a portable GPS which dont cost an arm and a leg. By the way, im using GPS here in Thailand as my only guide while driving. Being new, I cannot read their road signs and street signs so I just rely on English based map of Thailand. I found it necessary to put the GPS on the eye level of the driver and not on the console because once you are driving especially on high speed expressway, you cannot get your eyes off the road for safety reason. I tried several places for the GPS (on right, left, middle, upper, lower and even on top of dashboard) but the one that is best and safe i think is just below the rear view mirror. im using GPS with average screen size and it works (costing between Php1,800 - 2,000 with built-in map already). I dont use the console based GPS. Just my 2 cents comment on GPS...
Cheers!!
