On my part, I'm still waiting for delivery of the unit. Last I asked our Purchasing Department, my car is already with the dealer but they're still waiting for the issuance of an OR/CR.
oh i see. same goes with our company, purchasing dept is the one responsible for the procurement. I just did some research of myself to the different dealers on how much for fleet discounts and i wonder their answers to me is only 25K.. anyway, just hoping for the best deal in the end. looking forward to own 2.5G 4x2 A/T silky gold as replacement on my current ride. for practical reasons, I choose fortuner VS other SUV's. maintenance is barely cheap compare to others, has a good resale value and toyota spare parts is almost everywhere.

Same here. I ultimately chose the Fortuner over the Montero due to brand reliability, ease of servicing and value for money. But for me, my budget could only afford the gas variant - anyhow, my company will be shouldering my fuel for five years so fuel cost isn't that big a deal for me. I also like the idea that even for the gas variant, the Fortuner already comes with leather seats. That is a big plus for me as compared to fabric seats where I'll have to settle for leatherette seatcovers.

My only other additional expense will be for GPS activation which, unfortunately, does not come with the gas variant. But I gave the go signal for it, given that it's one of the few "new" toys for me in this new vehicle as compared to my current ride (Kia Carens).

Nice one sir. First 400 owners pala kayo.

Question lang, may 'X' plate series ba na 05' Fortuner? Lately mga 4 na ata na 05' fort ang nakakasabay ko sa daan na 'X' plate. Meron ba talaga or special plates mga un?

I have seen 2005 Fort with "XR*-***". Gas variant.

Either they are TMPI's early test mules for our market (note: their media unit are different and starts with "Z")

    or

LTO simply issued the units with old stock plates.
