helllo! this is about the adds. for me totoo yung mga adds nila. kasi nakabili ako ng fortuner ko na A/T vvti cost me 1.420M cash complete na. brandnew sa grey market cause at that time difficult kasi maghanap ng ganoon. and yung color nya is greyish brown. sabi nila limited pa raw yung color na yun!! ok naman wla naman problem yung car, cause sa casa naman nang galing and have a warranty. the differents lang is high price. kasama na nga pala yung visor, tint, and matting. for what i know is tataas yung price ng fortuner dahil sa vat. and now he is selling a 4x4 silver top of the line fortuner for 1.830m cash. for me nice move parin ang ginawa ko atleast i dont nid to wait for 3 mos. eh lahos 30k lang and lugi ko happy pa ako. heheheh. pero hindi ko sinabina bumili kayo sa kanila. you nid 2 check first kung may problem yung car sa LTO. get a xerox copy of the LTO reg. so that sure ka sa binibili mo. mahirap na baka carnap yun. wawa naman tayo!!!

called up SA yesterday and complained na bakit up until now wala pa yung fortuner ko, (Black 3.0v with Kelseat) I have reserved since december and si SPEEDYG77 nag reserve nung january, pero siya meron na agad. SA called up sabi andun na fortuner ko, but i found out it was a Silver 3.0v with Kelseat

What do you think guys, kunin ko na? or should i wait? what color ba mas prefered ng mga owners here in majority? ive noticed that silver is the most car color ordered ata. I have till monday to decide before they release it for the one next in line, and seeing the list im sure somebody would instantly get it. Ano sa tingin nyu?

Question lang, have you seen the ride? Suggestion ko siguro, punta ka sa Casa, then tignan mo yung ino-offer nila. Tignan mo kung feel mo yung kulay, sakyan mo kung pwede. If you don't feel comfortable, so it is better to wait na lang.

i took yer advice and boy were you right! i went there took a seat and got the feel of it, scrutinized every inch too and i got that vibe that it really didnt feel right, the silver didnt apeal to me much so im gonna wait for the black 3.0, thou i wonder when would that be oh well.. as what sir Monseratto said, better than living with regrets after

By the way guys, i noticed when i quick depress the gas pedal with an instant release, it went "vrooom" then i heard this rattling sound right after releasing the pedal. The head mechanic said that it was from the turbo and that its normal daw. Feedback sana sa mga trusty tsikoteers/fortuner owners here. Oh and thanks for the advices

the color that i got is not my first choice also... but i went to the casa to see it for myself. White got my attention and loved it, so i settled for white. that time it has no tint on it kaya mas appealing.

I feel the same thing immediately after releasing the brake coming from a hard stop. I reported this during my 5K checkup but the casa said my brakes are ok.

I suspect that this is mechanical and somewhere outside the brake system. Could be in the linkages or suspension where maybe one part causes the sound when under extreme pressure (or when pressure is released).

I drove cars with ABS and never experienced this except for the vibration during hard braking which is normal.

I dont think we can pinpoint the problem (and if it really is a problem) unless we have the right tools.

Lets just be cautious when driving and avoid getting into situations that require hard or sudden braking.

May tanong po me sana sa inyo guys regarding how this VAT thing affects car selling prices because we were about to purchase our Fortuner which was priced at 1.5M when we made a reservation deposit last December 2005. Now the price is jacked up to 1.6M coz of VAT daw?

My question is will the VAT increase affect us given that we had our reservation deposit December-05 prior to February 1, 2006 when VAT was officially in effect?

Unless your deal was consumated before Feb. 1, then you are affected by the R-VAT increase. A reservation fee is just that, a reservation fee.

Your unit price will be the prevailing price when the "actual sale" was made to you. Because of the long waiting list, the reservation deposit doesn't really mean anything since it is fully refundable because Toyota doesn't really build units according to customer needs at this time. You will be offered whatever unit arrives here from Thailand.

The increase of vat effective February is only 2% not 12% because the 10% is alrady effective since the vat law takes effect.
No way that it will jacked up to 1.6M . If i were you, I will make a formal complain

oem turbo timer question:
how do you set it to automatically detect how long the idle the engine needs? mine kase is preset at 1 minute. what should i press to make it automatic?
sabi kase nung isang kilala ko, yung sa kanya kase nagaadjust automatically. pag mejo long drive nagiging 2minutes idle.
