can anybody help in deciding which to buy between altis 1.6E vs innova J gas? which between the 2 will be better to acquire in the long run-fuel consumption,maintenance,resale value and parts costs?

March 20th, 2011 01:30 AM #3IMO it all depends on your needs chief! being an innova owner I will be biased! When it comes to durability and moving more people (i.e out of town trips, family gatherings or just the usual breakfast w/ your loved ones) I'll definitely go for the Innova because of roominess and dependability. However if you're the yuppie (young pro) type, single and willing to mingle, and daily routine will be spent mostly on city driving, going to and off work and space is not that much of a concern, then, obviously, "Altis" is the definite choice.

March 20th, 2011 02:16 AM #4in my opinion, it just about evens out between these two. the real question is, what do you want from your ride in terms of performance and function? i prefer my innova, because it floods frequently in my place, and i need large luggage space. but i envy the altis drivers when it comes to driving ease and comfort..

March 20th, 2011 10:40 AM #7almost the same lang kasi sila in terms of DP and amortization...yun nga lang,mas lamang c altis in terms of mga power functions included,and may airbag na sya kahit sa river side lang...for innova naman,it could provide a bigger spacegood for family gatherings and pasyalan pero higher fuel consumption...dont know lang pagdating sa maintenance which of the 2 is more chepaer..thanks sa mga advices guys..

March 22nd, 2011 09:07 AM #14In my opinion, it depends if you need the cargo space and/or extra people carrying capacity. If so, Innova. If not, Altis. Yes, the Altis will probably be less bare and will have a bit more creature comforts, but somehow these can be added-on. What you won't have is that extra row or the cargo space.
