vios 2010, restarting problem, is this normal?

hello! just got my new vios2010 from toyota last tuesday, one of the features daw of vios is you need to fully (as in dapat lagpak sa floor) step on clutch to start the engine or it wont start at all.

as for its FC, im satisfied on my first 200 km... i computed that i run 18km/l on highway driving....

dati kc my ride is carburator type.
this is what i wanna ask other vios owner:

1. ganun ba talaga. on neutral, after you press and let go the accelarator parang late matapos yung revolution. may LAG ata...

2. since nasanay ako sa dati kong car na marinig mo if hihingi yung engine ng accel... sa vios dont you encounter problems like namamatayan ng makina kc nabibitin yung apak sa accelarator?( sa primera )

3. and last, pag namatay ang makina, sometimes di gagana i restart. walang response kahit apakan yung clutch, it takes 2 to 4 atempts para magstart.... ( panay tuloy busina ng likod lalo na pag sa trapik)

happens to me last year using 2009 1.5E vios.
it's normal.

Kaya ka cguro namamatayan kasi nag aadjust ka pa sa bgo mo oto....normal lang yan sir & offcourse kung pansin mo din may katigasan apakan ang clutch pero sa katagalan ng gamit lalambot na din yan. safety purposes kasi ang design nito. Accelerate mo lang ng tama sir hindi yan mamatay ang engine mo. if ever naman na namatay in highway kasi trapik todo apak lang ng clucth para ma start ang engine.... Ang switching ng sensor yan nkabit sa ilalim ng clucth pedal w/ hard plastic assy. hapi drive lang sir....

The reason for the gas pedal delay is due to the drive-by-wire.

Masanay ka na diyan.

About the restarting - not sure, pero dapat hindi yata.

1. Completely normal since the engine is direct injection na and not carburator type.

2. definitely the drive-by-wire system

3. two culprits are possible: ECU or your god forsaken floor matting. Baka masyado ka po nagpapanik kapag nabubusinahan ka na at hindi mo na pansin that your matting is getting in the way sa pag-apak ng clutch. Fully depressed kasi dapat yan. Here's what you can do, bombahin niyo po 3x ang clutch before starting your car again.

Sa ECU naman, theory ko lang ito pero maybe it needs time to restart itself.

BTW yun nga sa restarting i will ask toyota dav if bakit ganun... on my first day kc, binalik ko agad kc nag error yung mga warning signals,nagbiblink permanently while driving yung mga ABS, PS handbreak signals... then mechanic told me they reprogram something called CIU ata. un ba yung Computer box? anyone experience this? sana di lemon itong compu box ko... wag naman
