    Good Morning Tsikoters!

It looks like our Innova J Diesel option will be put aside due to budget limitation. with this, I would like to solicit your advice on what variant of the vios is of best value based on its features, performance and our requirement. 1.3E M/T or 1.5G M/T?

We are residing in Bulacan and works at makati (approx 100kms +/- on a 2 way trip). we only intend to use it to go to work 1 or 2 times and hatid-sundo sa sakayan ng bus (16kms) 3 to 4 times on weekdays. on weekends we usually visit the inlaws once a month tanza cavite (approx 170kms +/- on a 2 way trip)

Based on the SRP 1.3E M/T is 695K and 1.5G M/T is 785K. are the additional features of the 1.5G M/T (Bigger engine, Bigger alloy wheels, Dual Airbags, rear disc brakes, power mirrors with repeaters, foglamps) worth the additional 90K?

note: we are only 3 as of now (me, wife and 2.5y/o son). but most probably be 5 on the near future (+ 1 baby and 1 yaya)

Appreciate your feedbacks. Thanks in advance!

Getting the Vios 1.5 M/T is the better value for you. You can achieve nearly the same fuel consumption of the 1.3L as long as you do not get stuck in traffic too much.

    The E vs G ...
-better brakes (disc all corners means better braking control)
-14in vs 15in wheels and matching tires (better control, less tire deflection during extreme maneuvers)
-air bags means more safety during accidents.
-bigger engine more power for overtaking, etc.
-power retract side mirror is a convenience item.
-foglights, more light on the road, easier to drive at night and in bad weather.

The additional 90k seems to be well spent.

I agree with what GH mentioned; since you mentioned that you'll be driving on the highway a lot, the 1.5L FC will not be much of a problem or big difference over the 1.3. This may even be better than the 1.3L once you start carrying your 2nd baby, yaya and all the accompanying baggage. As long as the additional 90K out won't be a large burden, go for the 1.5L.

Antilock brakes alone make it worth 90k, you cannot buy antilock brakes in Banawe. Hehe

The 1.5G Vios is worth it.

Aside from the added features that GH mentioned, mas mapapangiti ka sa bilis niyan. Hehehe.

Both 1.3E and 1.5G are equipped with ABS.

    ===================================

Their price difference is now 80K bec. Toyota has a promo this month that gives cash buyers 50K off the 1.5G and 40K off 1.3E.
