    hi mga peeps,

    last long weekend on our way to pagudpud. napansin namin na hindi na umiikot ang trip meter and odometer ng corolla gli namin. can anyone recommend a reliable repair person who can repair it. thanks

    Probably just the faulty odometer cable going to the transmission. Any reputable mechanic can replace and fix it for you.

    Your location is also needed for others to reply and recommend a mechanic for you just in case.

    madali lang yan probably speedometer cable lang yan naputol... Pakabit mo agad para hindi ka mawala sa schedule ng maintenance mo..

    Either the speedo cable or the Vehicle Speed Sensor.

    Pero teka, trip meter and odometer lang ba ang sira? Gumagana ba ang speedometer? Pag gumagana pa rin kasi, baka may sirang gear lang sa trip meter, hindi kumkagat.

    Pag putol ang speedo cable or sira na yung speed sensor, hindi rin gagana ang speedometer.

    i eleminated the possible broken speedometer cable cuz the speedometer works well. i tried pressing the reset button several times hoping it could just be a loose connection of the gears but to success.

    If that's an analog odometer, it is possible that the gear got misaligned.

    J6 or Jemsons. Php2100 po yata yung repair ng odo sa Patrol. Magulo kasi sa J6 kaya po yung assistant ni Jemson ang inutusan namin. Tapos pina upgrade ko na din to LED backlighting kay jemson plus gauge cleaning service.
