Bakit ganun, parang pininturahan yung lug nuts ko nung nagpa PMS ako. Puti siya parang liquid paper. Pinarotate ko kasi yung tires ko (front tires lipat sa likod vice versa) but I don't see any reason why they would do that :furious::furious:

Hindi kaya palatatandaan lang nila ito na sa kanila ito ginawa . Kung nasira man ang lug nuts mo pwede mong ireklamo sa kanila.

malamang marker yan, meaning they were able to it. You can always see these marks lalo na kung brand new ang kotse. Virgin pa so to speak ang kotse, never been touched by anyone else.

Know what? You will find more of these markers mark inside your engine bay and underchassis. Manufacturers use these as an indicator for the torque positions made by the assembly person. In a vehicle manufacturing line, they also use these for quality control purposes. Bottomline is, hindi nila binababoy yung oto mo.

Sir acceptable naman kung sa engine bay at chassis maybe for the purpose like what you said as 'indicators' or for 'warranty purposes' pero sa lug nuts? Why would they mark the lug nuts since standard naman sa apat na gulong ng mga 2nd gen 1.5 vios yan. Saka visible part din yan unlike sa engine or chassis which when you look closely parang binaboy.

It's a mark that they went over it. At least they didn't use orange like what they use on brand new cars.

it will go away over time especially once the brakes heat up and the marker is exposed to weather.

    Don't feel bad.

Ano ba yan. Parang liquid eraser lang yan eh. Hugasan mo, sabunin. Mawawala yan.

BIG NO with the thinner, could damage your rim paint if ever na malagyan mo!
    Try 1st water and rugs.
Kerosene is the last option, dip it with clean cloth , pigain mo 'til walang tumulo na kerosene.
Trapo mo sa affected area, careful na di mo mapahid sa ibang lugar, and rinse it with water.

Oh yeah, tried wiping it off with towel and water but to no avail. Might try the using kerosene like what sir xda2jojo recommended.

Mods kindly delete this thread nalang as many see this as irrelevant.

    Not me...

    [For RustyXIII]
What if i am a noob like janry1...
What if i am a lady and knows only how to drive my car...

The issue here is the damned QC(Quality Check, not Quezon City) of Toyota.
QC Area is the last location before ma-turn over ang sasakyan mo.
The marker won't remove using water and rugs,
Yes that marker is little thing to others who knows everything
What about if he/she knows nothing
Could be end up a "Destroy It Yourself" ...

I can't help but to react the so called "unworthy post/topic"...

    [To janry1]

The thread starter himself/herself acknowledged that this is irrelevant now. A little elbow grease will fix the problem. Why are you calling me out? Feel all fuzzy inside being a hero?

You said that you want to help the noob yet you suggest him going all the way back to the casa and demanding that they fix the "problem"? What about wasted gas, time, salary? All for some paint marks? Is this supposed to be noobie-friendly advice?

To the thread starter, be glad that they touched/fixed what you told them to. Those marks are a sign that you did not get swindled by being charged for a service that you didn't get. Be happy.

Now that's a total of three minutes I'm not getting back...

Yup, I admit that was my bad. I realized na medyo masama nga ang title after posting the thread, tried editing it pero bawal pala. My bad for having realized too late the fact that some members might be from casa or have affiliations with them and might find this thread offensive, sorry. Anyway thanks for your advice, will keep that in mind in my future posts.
