Toyota Vios- Ok ba no problem?

Napapaisip bumili ng pang harabas na kotse pero automatic. Hindi ako ang gagamit. Hindi pa naman ito nadadamay sa problema ng altis at innova?

No sludge issues whatsoever. Meron lang yata evident rattle on the dashboard na madaling gawin ng CASA if ever lumitaw. That's all.

But yes, its a car you can't really go wrong with if its ease of maintenance, good efficiency and ample power to get you from point A to B. As i mentioned in another thread, the Ondoy Edition Vios of my in-laws has been taken apart several times after being flooded and now it runs as if nothing happened, no kalampag either (which would be expected for a car whose interior has been removed several times).

We have a 4 1/2 year old Vios, no major issues.

Tinopak lang madalas yung gulong (stock 14s), madaling mawalan ng hangin, pero isolated case naman to. Regarding sa makina, suspension, etc. no problem at all.

Underpowered compared to what? It's good enough for city singit. Good luck na lang kung mag-overtake sa Tagaytay-Sta Rosa :praning: The tranny readily downshifts when floored and will happily let the engine hit 6000rpm if needed but to be safe give it room to wind up.

Got it up to 140 on SCTEX before my wife smacked some sense back into me

bakit parang marami ayaw sa vios dito. isa lang masasabi ko sa vios -- matibay talaga. pagdating sa looks common talaga pero wala nman problem kung maintenance ang usapan. it was actually my first owned car, 2nd gen 1.3E, malakas ang hatak kaya 170 sa nlex :-)

Got stuck from 7-9 AM on Mindanao Ave between Tandang Sora and NLEX, endured Holy Thursday NLEX traffic to SCTEX, 120 kph to Subic, arrived in Bataan 3PM. Only made a 30 minute lunch stop at Total NLEX. No problems.

It doesn't have a normal temp gauge. Just a light that will turn red when your engine's about to go BOOM! Pero CMIIW most cars at this price range don't have temp gauges as well. Iba nga dyan walang relo

So far I had a noisy compressor (freon overcharged after binawasan nawala onti tunog) and currently a tik-tik-tik sound from the front wheels while maneuvering in tight areas (which I'll have checked on my 10k PMS or earlier kung lumala). And their free seat covers are CRAP!

+1 on this. Yung nga seat cover na pasunod sa vios (8 months old) ko sira na pareho yung sa front seats. Tinanggal ko na lang mas gumanda pa tuloy yung interior ng vios ko.
