    Shintaro,

Gwapo. But expect to shell good money for anything Tom's. Mahal talaga pag original.

I'm pretty sure the knock-off Taiwan aftermarket accessories for the Vios will flood the market soon. Medyo bago pa kasi yung car, kaya most of the add-ons you'll find will be quite pricey.

Gawin mo na ring incentive sa kanya yung mga accessories for coming up with good grades. That's basically how I bought most of my car stuff when I was still in college.

Here's my advice for people thinking about buying a Toyota Vios: Don't.

This car is annoying me more and more with each passing day. Why? Because the front seats are so cramped together, it leads to a LOT of awkward physical contact between the driver and passenger.

The cramped design leads to a lot of unwanted shoulder rubbing. And if you're riding a manual transmission, be prepared to have the driver constantly have his hand brush against your thighs whenever he shifts gears. All this physical contact gets extremely awkward real quick.

Imagine driving this car with your mom, and having your hands constantly rub against her thigh all the time. Or your sister-in-law, or your niece, or a female co-worker, or a gay acquaintance, or your dog, or whatever. All that shoulder/thigh/hand physical contact gets awkward real quick. Had I known about this problem, I would've settled for a Honda City. Or even a Toyota Corolla, or a Kia, or whatever. No amount of savings is worth this much trouble.

I swear, if I try sitting comfortably, the driver will inadvertently bump into my shoulder or thigh at least once every 10 minutes. And we're not even that big. We're only like 5'5" tall and 150 lbs.

Not to mention the tamaraw like plastic inside the car.

Like I always say, you spend most of your time inside your car and not outside. Eh ano kung pangit ang labas ng City compared to the Vios? Ang ganda naman ng loob. Maluwag pa.

That is why I have a 2001 Exalta. Performs like the Titanic but hey, ang ganda ng loob.

I agree with the guy who said the Vios looks good outside, but it's the Honda City that looks *great* inside. Since we spend most of the time driving *inside* the car anyway, I should've opted for the City. Tapos yung foldable backseat ng City gives you so much cargo room, na para na siyang SUV.

Siguro pagka test drive namin nung Vios... sinadya nung saleslady to keep her distance from the driver so we won't notice all the unwanted elbow brushing ;)

Heed my words, car shoppers: Stay away from the Vios. Go for a Honda City.

The sales lady was pretty. Very pretty. I don't think I even noticed there was a car beside her ;)

Although compared to our lancer pizza pie, cramped ang loob ng toyota vios.

ok ang vios as a second car. :nerd:

pang asar ata sig ko... hihihihi :dead:

    i am sounding like a fan-boy.. :bald:

benta mo na lang sa akin yan!

I agree with A121 when he said that Vios is good as a second or spare car -yun ang inisip ko nung bumili ako and please remember that it's an 'Economy Car' so in my opinion, di natin dapat paghanapan ng kung anu-ano...

with all due respect platic, its not really the vios' fault that its small. You should have been responsible enough to check if you fit before getting any car. The fact of the matter is, some people dont really mind said physical contact. hehehe
