sana nga. pero even the cheapest (old model) City is selling at more than 500K, or even the Jimny for that matter, na 1.3 lang.

di ba dapat magbaba na talaga ng price ang mga car makers because of the asian free trade agreement (or something to that extent). that's the reason the new ranger is about 20k lower than the model it replaces, right?

sana nga mura.

muka pa naman masarap i-setup judging by the looks. mukang naka-15 in rims yung nilabas sa thailand. yung new city mukhang city-car talaga. mahina ang output ng 1.3 engine kaya nilagyan ng CVT. sayang wala nang 1.5 na lalabas.

yung corolla sa saudi is exactly the same as the ones in our neighboring SEAn countries. We got the US version. ang pinagkaiba lang nun is the hood, bumpers headlights, taillights and trunk lid. other than that, pareho lang (including surprisingly the front fenders). 8)

sana mura lang. can't wait to see one sa showroom. just went to see the city now. mukang ok pero i think the biggest let-down is the 1.3L engine. maganda interior ng city but if the vios looks just as good, i'd go for the vios rather than the city for its bigger engine.

will toyota keep the corolla 1.3 for taxi purposes?

any idea if the vios or the altis for that matter, can be used as taxi? or will this models have a restriction similar to honda?

sigurado naman na pag nadaig ng vios ang city because of its engine, eh maglalabas din ang city ng 1.5

i think a 1.5L VTEC engine in the city producing over 105 horsepower would give the city a power-to-weight ratio approximating that of the SiR hehe...

mahina talaga yung 1.3 iDSI ... CVT pa ... compared to the Vios' available 1.6L DOHC engine in thailand anyway ... but i doubt toyota would be bringing this engine here ... this will kill the J series Altis for sure.
