January 4th, 2016 05:38 AM #21*jut703 thanks for the information u handed on me. No first hand driving a car with ABS kasi unang car ko ay owner type jeep then xwind then vios j all walang abs kasi yun lng talaga ma afford ko.

I definitely agree that the driver is still a car's best safety feature. I understand that what you're saying is that if it's your time, no matter how many safety precautions you take, you're dead.
But following that logic and applying its converse, if it's not yet your time, then no matter how reckless you are, you'll be fine. So perhaps seatbelts, airbags, and ABS are unnecessary? What's the delineation between safety and recklessness if all is up to fate?

Yes, rather have it and not need it than need it when you don't have it.

January 5th, 2016 07:53 PM #26get the "E" variant. canvass ka daming promo ng toyota.
the benefit of ABS is very useful in sticky situation as stated by previous post.
nun kumuha ako ng vios ko, i am also planning to get the "J" variant, kasi mas mura, pero it turns out mas mura and "G" (spec up "E" variant during my time, gen 2.5 1.3G vios akin).
kasi sa mga idadagdag mo like:
TVSS (Code Alarm lang ito pero napaka pricey ng code alarm) mga more or less 9.5k para lang sa key less entry with standard key plus another 4.5k para sa alarm mismo. plus (not sure) ung mga actuator ng pinto - plus this may ba a hazard if you are wanting to preserve the warranty and hindi kasama ito sa standard insurance repair when time comes, other wise if you plan to include it on your renewal magkakaaadded cost ka sa insurance dahil hindi standard deliverable ng CASA.

at 50k difference, you will never know when you would need the ABS.
kala ko di ko din kailangan ito before until next week where i almost met an accident and ABS saved me.
the E, i think now has factory installed LCD HU, central keylock. the visor, costs around 2-3k.
