January 16th, 2014 07:27 PM #501Mga paps newbie sa diesel question lang po:
1. tuwing kailan change oil ng REVO diesel engine? considering more or less 100 kl lang tinatakbo per month. Nagagamit lang kasi weekend's (malling) or kung weekday's sa malapit lang ang punta (mag go-grocery).
2. what oil ang magandang gamitin sa ganong klaseng mileage lang? (stick for the OEM ba? or may magandang alternative?)
3. fuel filter tuwing kailan din po ang pag palit?
TIA mga paps

January 17th, 2014 12:35 AM #502Revo diesel owner here. We log more or less 700kms/month in this vehicle. Personally, OK lang kung medyo katagalan ang oras bago mag change oil as long as you still regularly use the car, kahit short distances lang. Every 5tkms for me. The Revo would be happy with any kind of motor oil, kahit mineral oil lang. I'm not picky on brands, though my suki mechanic usually uses Repsol. Full or semi synth don't increase performance in this engine, at least none that I've noticed. Fuel filter pinapalitan ko every 5tkms din kada change oil. Air filter pinapalitan ko every 10tkms naman.

January 18th, 2014 08:06 PM #503hello revo owners, question lang may nag palit na ba ng ring and pinion ng revo niyo? i have a 1.8 7ke gas manual ang takbo ko sa highway at 5th gear 90kph at 3000rpm gusto ko sana tumaas cruising speed hehe. i went to the casa and nag research ako the revo gas has a 4.7 final drive diesel 4.3/ innova gas 4.3 and the diesel 3.9.
also may naka pag engine swap na ng revo like a 3sgte (2.0 celica turbo gas engine) maybe? hehe

January 20th, 2014 01:46 PM #507Using Seaoil diesel, I get a pretty steady 7.5km/L city driving. It can do better, but the trips are pretty short most of time, around 10-15kms roundtrip. Driving to Baguio got me 10km/L with average speed of 100-120km/h. Take note that about 1/4 tank was consumed from QC to La Union, and another 1/4 tank through Kennon Road alone. (rpm at 3000-4000 most of the time) I am most definitely not a fuel efficient driver, so these can be considered worst case scenarios.

January 22nd, 2014 11:24 AM #509Ganun talaga ever since iyong 2002 SR ko when i bought it 2nd hand nung 2005. If you're coming from 1st gear or any other gear, just press clutch, shift to neutral, let go of clutch. Then press clutch again and it should shift to reverse more easily na. It's hard to shift to reverse coming straight from another gear.

3M Color Stable series are all above 50% TSER. RFID readable through the tint, stays good for...
What's the best car tint brand and color?
