Hi mga sir/mam, bago lang po dito sa forum, hingi lang ako ng opinion on this (post ko from other forum)
Napansin ko kasi kapag slow ang acceleration ko coming from full stop yung feeling ng gulong sa harap is parang dumadaan sa bumpy road, though di naman ganun kalakas pero kapag medyo mabilis ang accel wala naman. Also kapag na reach ng speedometer ang 100kph nag wiggle na yung manibela pero tolerable hindi malakas ramdam mo lang na may movement yung manibela.
May kailangan ba ko ipacheck?
check kung oblong ang gulong, wheel alignment and balance. steering components pa-check na rin.
Mga sir need your opinion on this:
Pinacheck ko yung sasakyan sa isang shop, inexplain ko sa kanila yung same sa post ko sa taas, upon checking nung mekaniko sabi nya maluwag daw bearing ng gulong sa right side, tinangal nila yung gulong then chineck yung bearing, sabi OK pa naman daw yung bearing, yung isang mekaniko naman ng check sa ilalaim ng sasakyan ang sabi nya may tama daw yung upper (bearing ba to o bushing/busing (ano ba tama). So yung isa binalik na yung gulong with proper greasing sa bearing, after nun ng check din sya sa ilalim dun nya tinuro sakin yung sinabi nung isang mekaniko at the same time sabi nya may alog na daw yung rack end sa right side ng sasakyan, tinanong ko kung kailangan na palitan, ang sabi nya itakbo ko daw muna at iobserve kung meron kabig sa kanan kasi daw baka maluwag lang yung bearing. Di na nila ginamitan ng computerized wheel alignment sabi kasi pantay naman daw ang upod ng gulong sa harap at diretcho naman ang manibela. Pinacheck ko din yung gulong sa likod to find out na may bukol na yung parehong gulong.
Regarding sa Upper at Rack end na sinabi nung mekaniko nag tanong ako ng qoutation binigay sa is umabot around 8.2k (4k labor & 4k part include ung 4 na upper at 2 rack end di sinabi kung branded/oem/surplus) nag advice din na pwede ako bumili ng parts at pakabit lang daw sa kanila. Ng tanong din ako na Ok lang ba na upper lang yung palitan, ang sabi nung mekaniko since may alog na daw yung rack end once daw na binaklas eh mahihirapan/baka di na daw maialign yung gulong (totoo ba yun?)
Eto ngayon ang concern ko (since medyo expensive at the same time base on findings sa back tires eh kailangan na din palitan):
1. If ever na pagawa ko yung upper and rack end reasonable price ba yung binigay nila? And kailangan ko na ba talaga mag palit ng rack end?
2. Kailangan ko ba magtry sa ibang shop for 2nd opinion?
BTW: yung auto is Revo SR, and dun sa mga check na ginawa nila ay wala silang siningil.

Hi sir! Same lang po tayo ng problema sa revo namin. Umaalog din ung manibela kapaga umabot ng 100kph. Rack end lang po yung pinalitan namin. Right and left side na rack end. Binili ko po ung rack end ng 1700, don't know if gaano sya tatagal. Last week lang po ako nagpalit sir. 300 lang din bayad ng service nya so a total of 2k po lahat. So far naman hindi na po umaalog simula nung napalitan sir.

^Nauubos ang tubig mo? Try checking if your water pump is functioning properly. Same goes for your aux fan. Hindi dapat nauubos ang tubig, nadudumi pero hindi nauubos. Check your hoses for tears or leaks. Check if your thermostat valve is functioning properly.
Kung dumating sa puntos na mabilis na sya uminit even after just travelling a few kilometers then you will have to check if you are in need of top overhaul.

Any mechanic worth his salt should be able to source a Revo's thermostat, it being such a common model and all. All 1.8 Revo's share the exact same 7K-E engine naman.
Sure na walang problema ang radiator? Ang gawain ngayon is to find where the missing coolant disappeared to. It may be a leaking radiator or hoses (which you said are working fine), faulty water pump or God forbid, has been mingling with the engine oil due to worn gaskets.

Hindi normal na maubos ang coolant sa reserve. May leak sa system nyan somewhere.
Sa Revo namin dati, once a year lang ako mg-add ng coolant sa reserve. Konti lang ang nababawas eh.

you're over-heating, sir. the superheated steam gets out of your radiator thru the hose going to the coolant reservoir. this in turn, heats your coolant in the reservoir, boiling it away.
causes of overheat: clogged radiator, in-efficient radiator fan (needs silicone?), in-effective aux fan (replace!).

Sir, Tanong ko lang meron kaming Revo DLX 2000 Model. Gasoline, napansin ko lang maingay ang makina may lagatik, Sabi ng mekaniko sa Valve daw. Sabi naman ng iba sa langis lang daw. Sabi nman ng iba hayaan ko lang daw kung wala naman problema sa takba. Sir i need your expert advice.
Revo's with the 7KE engine doesn't need the valve clearance tappet adjustment, as it is already hydraulic (self adjusting). I guess the ticking sound you hear was from the injectors. Pag luma na talaga yung 7Ke medyo ganun, medyo malakas yung tunog ng injector rail as compared with other EFI engines. If this is the case, di naman delikado yun. Pero pag valve ang maingay, ibang usapan na yun dahil baka may oil starvation ka na.. I hope this is not your case. Good luck Sir
thanks mga sir sa advice, ill used na ung high octane gasoline pero ganun pa rin. Ill na rin ung oil na high viscosity and fully synthetic ganun pa rin. Ung sound nya ay tik tik tik. Pag mabilis ang rebolusyon mabilis din tik tik ng makina. sabi ng mekaniko nanggaling daw ung tunog sa hydrolic valve loose na daw ung spring kailangan palitan. Ung lagatik na yan last 5 years ago pa simula nung pinatop overhaul nmin.
