Automaker Toyota is recalling more than 400,000 cars around the globe including the U.S. A faulty engine part could lead to an oil leak within the engine and cause it to stop completely. In Japan, the recall includes 2001 Corollas, the compact car Vitz, and the Prius hybrid. Here in the states and in Canada, 85,000 Prius cars are affected by the recall as well as the Echo and Yaris. Toyota says there have been no accidents due to the faulty part.

i believe the corolla in japan is totally a different model from ours...

not unless they use the same kind of engine

It's the same engine series. But the recall seems higly selective and could relate merely to a batch of bad parts.

more than 2.5 million vehicles have been recalled by Toyota this year.

and... yes... oil leak... I think I posted here somewhere about this being the common complaint against the Altis in the casa. but no one believed me.

yung vios nga di pa nila ma-solve yung kabig sa kanan problem namin eh... puro align lang daw pero di makuha.... wala kaya sa vios na recall? sana naman meron sa kabig
